POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
not seeing through the cracks
My skin is going pale,
from this lack of light.
Who does a man have to turn to,
if not his friends?
Why do I always have to ask you to fight?
Is this right?
I don't know anymore.
I can't see through the cracks in the dungeon door,
because i'm crying to much.
I'm pleading,
Begging him to let me draw my own blood.
I want him to make it stop,
but then you would clean me up.
I don't want to make you work,
so i'll keep suffering until the end.
from this lack of light.

Two blazing stars
Come back,
be who I knew in the womb.
Before we spoke,
You broke me in two.
From one mother,
but two worlds apart.
We were both trapped,
two blazing stars
I was doomed to burn out from th start,
but you had so much energy to give.
I gave you a world of colors,
i'm selfish to want you to come back to this.
This black hole in space that took nine months to make,
tore us apart and created only pain.
I left alone through a dark cave,
while you entered free and toasted with champaign
be who I knew in the womb.
Before we spoke,
You broke me in two.
From one mother,
but two worlds apart.
We were both trapped,
two blazing stars
I was doomed to burn out from th start,
but you had so much energy to give.
I gave you a world of colors,
i'm selfish to want you to come back to this.
This black hole in space that took nine months to make,
tore us apart and created only pain.
I left alone through a dark cave,

A large weight lifted
We arrived on the same day,
i'm sure you felt alive.
not sure of my fate,
I wanted to die.
You were born full of promise,
no imperfections,
no reason to cry.
Looking at you makes me sick.
I can't help but think of what should have been.
Thanks to you I got so many birthday gifts,
among them unsteady legs and two black eyes.
You have so many reasons to live,
but still you cut me down.
I have so many ill wishes to give you,
like hoping that you drown ever slowly.
I never get comfort,
though I am still sorry....
i'm sure you felt alive.
not sure of my fate,
I wanted to die.

Breaking point
I never have it in me,
to tell you what I really think
I have given everything,
and you leave me at the bottom to sink.
I get good-bye when I force you,
and love when you have nowhere else to run.
Now that I see through all of this bullshit, i'm done.
Find someone who you won't bring to his knees.
Find someone,
with the heart to believe.
I see more than one car,
on this two-way street.
The days pass and as I grow weak,
you drain more life out of me.
how could you go on just the same,
knowing i'm tired and with anger in your wake?
to tell you what I really think
I have given everything,
and you leave me at the bottom to sink.
I get good-bye when I force you,
and love when you have nowhere else to run.
Now that I see through all of this bullshit, i'm done.
Find someone who you won't bring to his knees.
Find someone,
with the heart to believe.
I see more than one car,
on this two-way street.
The days pass and as I grow weak,
you drain more life out of me.
how could you go on just the same,
knowing i'm tired and with anger in your wake?

The best kind of envy
Caves with bats that come awake,
smell your fear and mak you shake.
A resounding voice scares them away,
and now you have a friend for eternity.
My tomb is sealed with yours,
our tears all fall to the floor,
I cry with you.
From the womb to the grave I call you my friend, forever more.
I'll lay you down on a bed of roses,
and curse the room where you will leave me.
Never to enter into your grace,
I can't help but want to see what you see.
smell your fear and mak you shake.
A resounding voice scares them away,
and now you have a friend for eternity.
My tomb is sealed with yours,
our tears all fall to the floor,
I cry with you.
From the womb to the grave I call you my friend, forever more.
I'll lay you down on a bed of roses,
and curse the room where you will leave me.
Never to enter into your grace,
I can't help but want to see what you see.

a message overdue
I stare at a half moon with friends on the shore,
with love in my eyes I settle the score,
and cut with a sword to beat back the tide.
I'll be someone you can hide behind, for the rest of time.
The pale white moon falls from the sky, the remains of an old life.
I love you to much to let you pick up the pieces,
just trust me when I say you need this.
I vow to renew you.
with love in my eyes I settle the score,
and cut with a sword to beat back the tide.
I'll be someone you can hide behind, for the rest of time.
The pale white moon falls from the sky, the remains of an old life.
I love you to much to let you pick up the pieces,
just trust me when I say you need this.
I vow to renew you.
