POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Poet Introduction
I hope you enjoy this, because I can't do anything else.
Childlike Dreamer
Ah there it is; the childlike voice that soothes me back to believing once more in wishes. Sets free this heavy heart. Uncaged from the burdens of woe, now bent back are the bars that held me so. Souring along the wind swept landscape of dream I have longed for, my angel-dreamer now awakens me. With a song of old, returning to burn bright in the sky its endless wonder. At last I am whole!
Home again, Alice now wiser breaks through the mist of illusion. The mad world dubs me insane, and I blush from the complement. Fixed now are my dewy eyes as I look upon the truth. The unreal...

The Philosophy of Chess
Why chess? Because chess is an interesting game, that's why. At it's core it represents duality at it's finest. A checkered board of 64 squares and 32 peaces (16 on each side) with 32 squares of space between them. Traditionally you have you have both dark and light squares and peaces. The peaces themselves are mirror image reflections of the corresponding peaces on the other side of the board. Side by side the king and queen rain over their haft of the board with a ranking system of descending peaces playing out their respective roles. The Bishops representing the clergy, the knights the...

Preponderance
What is this strange attraction, this unknown feeling that surges through the blood and beckons me into these odd doings? I feel I have been here once before, yet the place and time remain a mystery. I see the world as a movie on some large backdrop of screen, but despite my travels I am still no closer to breaking through the vale. What is the purpose to this experiment? The truth of the matter is that I am alone and confused here, and all I can think is that I want to go home, but where is home?
More questions then answers in this place, and more sorrow than any other emotion....

Something I wish I could say
Where did you go?
Why did you leave me?
I love you so much.
All I wanted was to
to be with
you
I wish I
Could be any
other person
Then who I
am now
If only
you would
Love me.
Why did you leave me?
I love you so much.
All I wanted was to
to be with
you
I wish I
Could be any
other person
Then who I
am now
If only
you would
Love me.

Paradigms
There is something to this reality stuff, I'm sure of it. I was doing some drawings, just some circles and lines, but I thought I saw something interesting, everything seemed to link up quite nicely. The more I looked at it the more I saw how everything is connected. There is a reason to this I'm sure, but at the moment to fail to see the total underlining point.
Perhaps there is no point, maybe its just a bunch of random stuff floating around in wont of a real purpose, and maybe that is the purpose. Could it be both? The notion of a grand paradox is an intriguing one. Somehow two...

Last Moon of Autumn
I seen the last full moon of autumn
Dying, sinking down
I said there ain’t no use in crying
I came this way to watch it drown
I got blistered bloodied fingers
Trying to help me tie my shoes
I got blistered bloodied fingers
And there’s nothing I can do
I seen the last full moon of autumn
Dying, sinking down
I said there ain’t no use in crying
I came this way to watch it drown

Red Balloon
I want to buy a big red balloon. Tie a string to one end and send it sailing on the clouds. A captain of the big red balloon ship clouding over the fluffy white Sea, bobbing in and out through swells of misty mountains; through those grandiose sky castles that occupy mystic realms of eternal snow.
I wish to fly aloft those clouds. Those giant kings who lord over us indifferently. With gallant swipe they glide over our world silent, hissing or unbelieving loud. Ah, to wait with them on my balloon! Proudly amongst heaven’s fleet, I could survey all creation with out the least bit of...
