POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
The Emptiness
Well here’s to the truth, here’s a toast to the lies,
Here’s to the sadness, hidden in these eyes.
Stab my heart and watch the life drain right out,
Crush my soul; watch me die without a fight.
Break my bones, grind me to dust and blow me away,
Straw my veins, watch me bleed to the light of day.
My tears they burn like ice, my veins are emptied dry,
This hollow black abyss, an empty soul did die.
Battered at your hands, bloodied and broken,
Lonesome and alone, unwanted and forgotten.
Ripped apart by pride, pinned down by hope,
Kick the chair...

My Porcelain Heart
My first time writing a poem of this kind so it's different from my usual pieces*
Every night I rest my head it’s her picture I paint in my thoughts,
Everytime I see her face my heart crumbles into naught.
Her sun kissed skin radiates perfection,
Her pursed lips breed temptation.
Her razor tongue only makes me yearn;
“Once bitten twice shy”, lessons I fail to learn.
She took my heart into her palm,
And held my soul within her hand.
She whispered love into my ear,
Sweet nothings that I still hold dear.
“My little angel” she would say,...

Dearly Departed
Dearly departed, condolences in your demise,
If only I had the chance to look in your eyes;
As death whistled closer and took you away,
As you left the earth like the light of day.
Dearly departed, there’s words I cannot speak;
No one shall ever see the tears stains on my cheek.
Forgive me; please let my sins go,
Your memory so dear, I promise to always hold.
Dearly departed, a piece of me is gone;
Like tearing done the walls of a broken home.
Naked and unsheltered; I feel alone,
I still can’t seem to come to terms with the fact that...

Here's a Razor...
Here’s a razor blade; it calls my name,
I can hear your voice, and it’s doing the same.
Pain is luring me; into her clutch,
Will I give up my soul like I did my heart?
Promise me you’ll take the hate away,
Promise me that I’ll never see the light of day.
One last wish, will you grant it?
One last promise; keep this secret.
Take it to your grave, as I lay down in mine,
Don’t rush to follow too close behind.
Hell doesn’t need me, they can have you,
Suffer just an inch of what I’ve been through.
I can hear noises, voices as well,
Off...
I can hear your voice, and it’s doing the same.

A Walk with the Wicked
Come let’s take a walk, down the alley of death,
Come let’s take a stroll, to our dark demise.
Come and walk with me, down ol’ memory lane,
Take my hand my love, and let’s re-live the pain.
Do not look away, from the scene in front,
All of darkness’ thoughts and it’s you they haunt.
Slowly creeping out, of your own skin,
Say hello to the, darkness within.
The air around is cold, I feel it fill my lungs,
As my breath will let, my last song is sung.
The darkness cannot hide, how I feel inside,
It cannot take away, that which is serpentine.

Misanthropy
There’s suicide songs playing and I’m singing along,
Misery like company well I’d rather be alone.
The sun’s too dark and the moon’s to frail,
Sadness is hidden behind this blackened veil.
"Like fault, like punishment"; this is what I get,
Sadness and pain, topped off with regret.
The dead and their caskets; I and my bed,
The end meets up with the paths that we all led.
“He that lives long suffers much”,
Pray and wait for the day that I do depart.
Into a black lake, where I belong,
A place of solitude to weep alone.

"No heartache with-out a heart."
I’ll curve my heart out and place it in a box, my keep-sake gift to you,
The continuous beating caused me pain, it had to be removed.
Keep it if you must, through it if you will,
My inability to smile again; it might as well stand still.
Loving without return is like a question without an answer,
It eats away at me; proclaim it to be my cancer.
Stamp out the fading embers in the dying flame,
It pains me to know that you’ll never call my name.
Grief pent up will break the heart, but you already did the deed to mine,
You’re like a batch of poison, vile...

Throw Your Faith Out
Lovers are mortal but love is immortal,
Eternal sadness lingers on.
We have no escape; we cannot leave,
Monotonous misery is what we breathe.
You might feel it today but its different tomorrow,
Love might be immortal but so is sorrow.
It’s a sea of faith but we have no boat,
The depths of our souls; the pits of our hearts.
We only hear melancholic shouts of pain,
I have nothing to lose or to gain.
And your world comes tumbling down, crashing to the floor,
You’re no longer who you were before.
The look in your eyes only says too much,...
Eternal sadness lingers on.

Monotonous misery is what we breathe.

Blood
Blood soaked, from head to toe,
Dripping on the carpet as you walk past the door.
Blood stained, you clench to you knife,
It was a light task for a sacrifice.
Tears flood, to your welling eyes,
The grief is too much; your too sad to cry.
Blade turned, on your gulping throat,
If death is what you want you’ll get what you sought.
The death of wolves is the safety of sheep,
you got what was coming, you sowed and you’ll reap.
Too terrified to scream; too proud to let it show,
You’ll finally get your kiss under death’s mistletoe.
Lay you down to...
