put down the rope
let me climb
to join halfway
where the fallen fell through
where the horizons broke
where darkness divided
the days and nights
I deserted the highway
before my disgrace
and built a stairway
till I saw the surface

my name is human
and I am a serial killer
my killing spree
spans over centuries
but never got caught
because you see
I know many
powerful people
who run this world
I never had a pattern
and my methods vary
I kill for food
I kill for sport
I kill for boredom
I kill for anger
I kill for money
I kill for hobby
I kill for power
These acts of mine
caused the demise
of millions
the extinction of
thousands
but I do...

with tired eyes

that's comforting
it's a broken heart
