A Heart's Last Lament
What in God's name have you done to me?
Or maybe what did I do to myself?
You're all that's ever on my mind,
Even after putting my feeling on a shelf.
You've got your grip around my neck,
Being choked by the hand I used to hold.
Though now my fingers know no touch,
And my blood has run cold.
Though I can't get you out of my system,
You're like a ghost through the day.
But when the sun sets and eyes ablaze,
You give me my own personal hell to pay.
Your face is all is I see when closed eyes,
Your voice is all that I can manage...

Stars
You said to look up to the sky,
And see how the stars may shine.
The sound of your voice, the feel of your hand;
Though drove me lost in time.
Up above did my gaze so sore
To the blue canvas splattered white.
The sky glowed with an unfamiliar blaze,
One that illuminated the night.
Lost out in the everwonder had my mind gone,
To a place that knows no end.
A bird's chirp to blink myself back,
The look of a feathered friend.
To you my eyes do attract
Which I refuse to attempt to hide.
A million and one things raced through my...
And see how the stars may shine.

Walls Can't Speak
If thesefour walls could speak,
You’dhear things you don’t want to know.
They’dtell you the horrendous things I do.
The thingsI wish I could tell you so.
You’dlearn about all the tears.
They cometo visit me every night.
Sometimesnot for too long,
Sometimesuntil I see the light.
The wallswould whisper to you,
Aboutall the thoughts that swirl my head.
They pickand tear at me endlessly,
As I justtake it lying in bed.
You’ddiscover the song I play,
Whilethe tears stream down my face.
It makesthe waters run faster,

Burned; The Pleasure is Mine
Scream
I want to hear your blood crawl.
Salty tears spill from your eyes;
Back yourself into a wall.
Embrace the cold concrete
Against your naked spine.
All the pain and aguish you caused me;
Finally the pleasure is mine.
Sit there alone in the corner
Like I did every time I cried.
Drown yourself in your fallen tears;
Just like those days I tried.
I’ll stand above your naked body,
With a match in my hand.
A smile will curve on my lips,
This show will be something grand.

No Love For a Liar
Thelook on your face is louder
Thanyou could ever try to speak.
The secrets you keep to yourself,
Arethe ones I try my hardest to seek.
I cansee that fire burns in your eyes,
Itburns right down to your soul.

Moonlight on Friday
Are you tired of this game that you play?
Does it sicken you to fake your life everyday?
Fear not, I can show you a place my friend,
It will make you see this is not the end.
Come with me, out past the open fields of wheat,
Past all the light stops to the forest we shall meet.
The darkness will incase you, but do not fear,
There is no need to be scared, for you are here.
Look around you friend, enjoy the sight,
Can you see it, can you see my delight?
In the shadows blare eyes of a liquid gold,
Those eyes will tell you things you’ve never been told....

The Last Thing
So cold and alone,
She sits on the swings.
Slowly rocking back and forth
While thinking of things.
Not a sound is made
Except for the silent scream
That echos in her head
From her midnight dream.
She's alone in the park,
She's alone in the world.
No one to love her,
She's just a broken girl.
Back and forth
On the swing she rocks.
To a small gray kitten
She slowly talks.
"They don't understand.

There is no possible way
They could ever see.
What they put me through
Every single day....

Starrider
I stole a ride on the stars a few moons ago,
They took me to places that I’d never imagine.
The night was my blanket as galaxies sang me a lullaby.
The stars flew through the sky like rockets,
Shooting like bullets from an invisible gun.
They told me not were they were bringing me,
But that I would sing a song that I’d never known.
They strode past the pearly gates of Heaven,
And out past the thousands of skies of dead air.
Twinkling diamonds paved the rode that I rode upon.
We traveled through years and times of the distant past,
To make me relive...
They took me to places that I’d never imagine.

Her Fake Heart
I hate to see the way she acts,
Whenever you’re around.
She treats you like a false king,
And gives you an imaginary crown.
I know you love her,
It hurts me but I know.
It pains me even more
To see how she treats you so.
Her love for you is fake,
It’s all just unreal.
I can’t begin to describe
The things you must feel.
To not even know,
That every word is a lie.
Everynight, I lay awake
And I wonder why.
Why would she hurt you,
When she knows of your love?
You think she is perfect,
Like she was sent...

Do you have any idea of how you make me feel?
You have a certain magicthat just falls over me
Whenever we're together,
And it captivates mein a way that is unexplainable.
My heart always beats a little fasterwhenever we talk,
I can't help it.
Just your presence makes me nervouswith happiness.
Have you any clue what you laugh sounds like to me?
Angels singing could not compare to the joyous melody
Of your smilespeaking.
If I could I would play your voice over and over
In my headlike a song stuck on repeat.
Your eyes send secret...

Alone
I’ve seen daddy get drunk then drive me to the bar with him.
I’ve heard words and phrases that should never be repeated.
I’ve witnessed mommy storm out of the house
And threaten to never come back.
I’ve seen my brother turn to drugs for an escape from life.
I’m witness to the police coming to our house more than once.
I’ve been told that I might have to live in a foster home.
I have stayed at friend’s houses days at a time
Because of the fear of returning home.
I’ve considered running away more times than I could ever count.
I have been through...

I don't need the money;
I don't need a big fancy car.
I don't need some big expensive airplane
To take me somewhere far.
There's no need for the nicest clothes,
I don't want any fancy dinner.
I don't have to win the game
To consider myself a winner.
I could pass on the trips
To the exotic far away places.
I don't want to be like other girls,
With their fake plastic faces.
I only need one thing to be happy,
In no matter what I do.
In order for me to be happy,
All I need is you.
