Asteroid horse
I saw an angel,
with broken wings
holding a light...
then a voice like
thunder
said...
I can show you
the knowledge of
many things
...if you will open
your mind.
carousel of lies,
fear stays the
course.
we've been
taken for a ride,
...bow down to
the overlords.
two times 'round
the sun,
here comes the
asteroid horse
suspended animation,
fragmented beams of
light,
drove my motor car
to the moon
...just to see what it's
like. ...

come with me,
to the edge of the
river.
and i'll kneel at
your feet,
babylon sister...
a southern star,
a rams head...
have i gone to far?
caught the devil
sleeping in my bed...
babylon sister,
have i been forsaken?
who can i turn to?
cause my soul's wearing
thin...
if i drink the water,
will i find salvation?
who's gonna catch me?
'cause im falling again...

crown of thorns
it's been a long time,
since i've seen the fire
in your eyes...
when we get together,
there's someone else on
your mind...
i saw a rose,
over by the roadside.
...picked it for you,
got a thorn in my pride...
i saw a sparrow,
...and heard its lonesome
cry.
i could feel the pain,
and woe bottled up inside...
the sky turned black,
then our love died...
( chorus )
one more time around
the sun,
still not over you...
feel the bite of love.
did you give up on me?
did you give up on...
since i've seen the fire
in your eyes...

my shadow walks
my shadow walks,
...unforgiven.
i'll follow it,
...'till the end.
each step,
...leads to the next.
with the devil as my
witness,
i embrace this darkness
within...
it was there burning
crosses...
i looked into the flames.
...only to see the faces
of those forgotten.
my shadow walked,
...into the darkest day.
i can not reconcile with
my conscience,
...to it i am always a
slave.
as i drift deeper into
this darkness,
i swear,
...i am not afraid.
my shadow...
...unforgiven.
i'll follow it,
...'till the end.
each step,
...leads to the next.
with the devil as my

bitter sweet agony
i stood in the pouring
rain...
thinking of you,
embracing my feelings...
i wish you didn't have
to leave so soon...
but you had to be set
free,
with open arms,
i drift deeper in to
this bitter sweet agony...
once i found a diamond,
in a pile of coal...
shone like the sun,
the light filled my soul...
but it was never mine,
so i had to let it go...
just so you know my love,
you didn't hurt my feelings,
...kindred one.
it wasn't meant to be,
this higher connection,
between you and me......
rain...

magic carpet ride
gypsy dancer,
let me hold you
tight.
and we'll ride
the wind,
on our way to
cloud nine.
if you'd grant me
just one wish,
i'd be your lover
tonight...
seal it with a kiss,
then take a magic
carpet ride.
sweet little gypsy,
always dancing in my
mind...
with an arrow through
my heart,
i can't sleep tonight...
i made a wish on a
shooting star,
in the pale moonlight.
if my wish comes true,
i'll be holding you
tight.
but i'm still so far
away,

can i feel a little love?
can a broken heart heal,
if it's been ground to
dust?
will the lion lie down
with the lamb,

you whispered in my ear.
you loved me 'till death,
your so glad i could be

mute reminder
i didn't mean to hurt you,
it wasn't my intent at all.
my past always haunts me,
that's my shadow on the wall.
searching in the dark,
you were the light that
guided my way.
unable to find you,
i let our love die in vain.
now the writing's on the wall,
it said to set you free.
and i can see by the sadness
in your eyes,
that it's time for me to leave.
so i'll put you in my heart,
and wear it on my sleeve.
a mute reminder,
so you wont fade from my
memories.
everything's come full circle,
in my shadow...

twisted hand of fate
my love is a drift,
against the tide.
i know i'm not the
only one,
that feels this way
inside.
i loath the sun,
it reminds me of the
light in your eyes.
it didn't have to
turn out this way...
we just never said
the things we needed
to say.
now you're gone,
everything's out of
place.you're the one,
that can never be
replaced.
did i go too far?
is it too late?

baby don't lose
faith.
hold on to me,
everything will
be okay.
lost in the dark,
don't be afraid.
take my hand,
together we'll find
our way.
in your eyes,

consumed by the fire,
until i hold you in my
arms again.
let's reach for the
stars forever,
if we fail still we
took the chance.
we've come this far
together,
on our exodus from
this wasteland.
now we're so much older,

oh sweet death,
sing me a lullaby.
cradle me in your
arms,
when i close my
eyes,
for the last time.
raise a toast,
with my blood
filled chalice.
to the cup of
iniquity,
that leads my
guardians palace.
oh sweet death,
take my hand.
and lead me down,
this crooked path.
i'll dance in the
fire,
while a thousand
angels cry.
the flames will
rise higher,
as the tears
evaporate from
their eyes.
with my last breath,
the reaper smiles...
oh...
