don't be late
silently it comes to behold you
sipping off your soul until there is nothing
the stillness of breath your lifeline
reaching out to those you love
you feel the connection slipping
you cry out but no one hears you
then one day you are gone
transported to the place dreams die
alone with your guilt you go mad
as the world you knew continues to spin
full of light and love
cutoff from everything you weep
in your solitary cell of grief
a light shines, it's a glimmer
someone is missing you terribly
you hold...

wicked
untitled glory beheld me
the ground tremble at your approach
a heavy knowledge overcame me
wisdom was before me burning with truth
I must alter but it seems impossible
to change ones course without first changing oneself
my heart ache from the honesty of this
seeminly bent on one path I lament
travailing with the sacred Father
rejecting some of the things he presents
more information is needed
this causes me sorrow
were it that I so easily believe
but my mind challenges
causing me to fall into...

charmed
delicate vision to fell a beauty
lilting passions do amuse
creating lovely landscapes to crave
in the innermost sanctum desire
intimate love advanced and a secret passion grew
lingering doubts did ensue
but favor over a suitor quenched fires of renown
where a lass question everything she knew
for her lover true
who in good stead did understand his trespass
but could not withstand his need
on one tempest night his chastity foiled by the dame
so enraptured with each other they gave in
a night of temptuous lust...

infused souls
in a trance I walk from body rising on the winds I become one
infusing with the elements
my soul altering with inflection
water refreshing my being
the dirt grounding me
fire charges me with energy
nature requires I answer her
it is my faith to care for the sentient spirits
connecting with them lending my life force
the trees whisper hello
the kindom of spirits is open
everything in concert with each other
the winds blend the emotions and we feel all
the weight of mankind
the yoke of carrying this...

sacred bond
weeps the dawn and the brotherhood of men
culted fascination between souls of the immortal realm
feigning loyalty, forgotten faith, stirs
rising up within me
stalwalt judgement and swayed truth
in sync with the alchemy of the moment
desire of the ancient way
one comes forth from the shadows
and I am beside myself with grief
hinder not the way with mischief
it is understood there is a chasm between us
our bond broken
a blood oath taken between brothers
lay waste over a woman
the womb did trouble ...

electric touch too bad it's draining

spells danger in a look

the day cry for unintended villianry
she was contempt in her stead
intent on bringing revenge
insulted silence couldn't be calmed
resist the dawn and all will be well
nay remarked the day
she was bent on vengeance
blood will be spilt before midnight
a young bride was in her sights
contemptable reckoning the fairest in the kingdom
the day marked her well
conjuring a storm to chase her from the garden
into the hedge maze wrought with thorns
soon she was lost

rest assured
an artistry in the spilling of words onto the page
finessing the thoughts
stringing them together in a way to make one feel
deeply and passionately with tempo, rhythm and rhyme
sublime feeling when you get it just right
troubling the depths stirring emotions
connecting with one another
we poets are a different breed
hunting for just the right word play
something soft to fall on the ears
it's in the versed I find God
sleepiness of soul and I'm dreaming
ladybug sunshine and starlit horizons

divine soul lilting through time
lighting up my life, God and I
in sync and deeply connected
at one with Him and his spirit
joined with the people
we feel each other intimately
rejoicing this season
colorful lights family get togethers
a special time of year
festive and bright
let's not forget those struggling
because this time of year can be daunting
for those dealing with pain

intrigue
your thoughts shot blackbirds through my soul
and I scream of images not my own
terror roost inside me and I quiver
anxiety wrought from knowledge
secreting profanity, in the lacy hallows of my heart
a darling to be sure
you caught sight of me right away, seducing my need
leaving my senses I then return to them later
kept in the crypt of dreams
cold and undisturbed they lay restless
awaiting the day I would return
sinsister giggles, from deep down
hidden thoughts of mine whisper
gathering strenth within
...
and I scream of images not my own

my love doesn't alter
heartbroken in the soul of me
a scarred terrain
indiscretions brutalize
and I don't trust anymore
vulnerable in a feeling
I can't go back, I can't go forward
if I leave I will hurt, if I stay I will be hurt
my love for you doesn't fade
but it aches
so full on the good days
so bad when you push me away
I'm uncertain what you think you will find with someone else
the magic elixer
the perfect combination
perhaps you would
my affections don't alter
I know there is no one more perfect for me ...

waiting on a soul connection
little thoughts of beauty make me smile
with a grateful heart I enter another day
my hopes are that there are no surprises I can't handle
focusing on the positive
I won't get mean today
you wouldn't think that is a thing
but it is for the impatient
the key is to remember to be present in the moment
not racing ahead to the next destination
taking my time to smile at people
instead of cutting them with my eyes
it's been brought to my attention how vivid I can be
altering myself I realize I don't want to be sour
