True Worth
To love someone, what is it worth?
Especially when they cause you pain, anguish and so much hurt?
You try so hard to fulfill, yet their abuse to your soul is the ultimate kill
What the fuck else can I do?? I do nothing to hurt, abuse or use you. I abide by you, I oblige to you. I gave my heart entirely to you! And what do I get from you?
I get a slap, a hit, a kick when Im down
Made fun of and laughed at like a circus clown
No support, just an abort of any positivity
How can this be? Why does this happen to me?

Daddy
Daddy
We never had you, but we survived without you
My mommy, strong black woman did what she could
So that we were raised good
Where's Daddy, No daddy to be found
Abandoned at random
Sister would throw emotional tantrums
Kids with no daddy is a pandem-ic
It hurts, why were we cursed
For being born
Dreams and hopes of a happy family Torn
By your ignorance
It makes absolutely no sense why you left
You made us out to be in the form of a debt

Senseless
What is going on today?
Why doesn't anyone have something to say
About this senseless violence and ignorance?
There is no coincidence that this violence is upon us, but it is not beyond us. We can stand up, rise up and put up our dukes and nuke it out with our mighty fists, we may have to enlist in our own army to get rid of this travesty!
lives lost, what a high cost for what? What is to gain from someone elses hurt and pain??
What is going on today, what happened yesterday, what will happen every other day from now?
We must get rid of this...

I look at your beautiful brown eyes
I have come to realize that I am once again taken

It's been hard to be without you but I have to face you
