This piercing stare of light opened the atmosphere
Blank smiles around this bleak land
Everlasting roars engulfed these ears
Seems like the sun has eyes only for me

The ground pulling me down into its keepings
My eyes set on the horizon
Struggling becomes futile in efforts
Awaiting the unknown sight which lies below

Pulsating thoughts dash along the hallways of my mind
Anxiety and fear competing for first
Paranoia flood my sight
Under this sky of tension

What’s the point of fighting now?
When I see your eyes lusting for life
Hoping for love, longing for peace
Hungry for my heart
As I fade away in your miseries

My body remains lifeless
As I realize my soul has been ripped from my grasp
I wondered how something so uniquely my own
Could be taken away

With a mere glimpse of your tears
Pain should have awoken me
But with no soul
I couldn’t care even if I wanted too

Although I must thank you, I am
Closer to my dreams
Far from your affection
I can await death peacefully...

Chills scale the walls of my legs to my head
Lightning carving imagines into the moulding of my vision
Engulfed in darkness with constant cracks of thunder layering any possible thought of peace

Watching my mind slowly drown in bleeding emotions
My heart synchronized with the clock’s pulse
A waiting that sweet aroma of fear to silence my so called dignity

No matter how many times I smash this mirror
It can't hide my shattered soul
It’s like people are looking at me
But I'm looking through them

This mirror shows me the pain in my eyes
With the scars that remain
There's nobody by my side
As each crack slowly grows

Sadly, there's not enough hatred
To drain away this misery drenched capsule that I call my life
Nothing but murdered promises dance along the hallways of my so called heart
The cold silence of my mind to your words filled with tears was dreadfully pulsating
