POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
A River I've Cried
Tears dropped
In the state of my anguish
To please I desire
Myself in denial
My worth I misplaced
I give...
Emptiness gained
Depression released
Impression mislaid
Sadness to live
And the joy is gone
A river I've cried
My soul is lost.
In the state of my anguish
To please I desire
Myself in denial
My worth I misplaced
I give...
Emptiness gained
Depression released
Impression mislaid
Sadness to live
And the joy is gone
A river I've cried
My soul is lost.

Bruised my hands with your belt in my naughtiness
O God, how this pain, anger and assorted emotions well up on my inside
My ink to this paper describes you not

Lord take this pain that makes it so hard to breathe
I...
