A Poem For Mi Amor
You and those eyes…
I start with because I see them first
They are alluring
Your powerful gaze attracts me
You’re my center of gravity
Keeping me in constant orbit
You keep me grounded
Astounded
Surrounded by happiness
That smile
Brighter than the sun
I worship it
It is my greatest delight
Behind those lips
Those lips
Soft and addicting
Those lips
So kissable
You’re my drug and I’m hooked
Those lips
Them hips
Oh lawd girl
Them hips
Make me fall to my knees
Praising
Never raising
In love...

Seconds
Your going down that same narrow path
Be aware of your actions. Think of the aftermath.
They say the only result of this choice is a broken heart.
But i never make mistakes and im not about to start.
they say dont make rash decisions
you may reconsider
i say if i do i miss my chance and never get to be with her
you see we hesitate within ourselves
we try to recreate what serves us well
but we miss opportunities
always to be consumed with these.....feelings of deep sorrowful regret
keeping our pain inside a secret
trying to hide from our peers...

The Dream
Her lips tasted like strawberry twizzlers which i dont really like but I loved them last nite
As i looked at her my heart raced and my knees shook because I was nervous but she said it was alright
She laid down and all I could do was stare
I mean, how could I not my dream girl was layin there
She smiled and all my worries and nerves melted away
She looked me in my eyes and told me everything would be okay
So I smiled and kissed her and she said she liked that
So I kissed her neck and felt her finger nails gently scrape my back
Then she began to undress and i...

"Living" Arrangement
A sight so sad that can melt your heart
The way things go when families are ripped apart
What can start off as just a heated debate
Can end with the police coming a second too late
What do you do when your mother and father fight?
If she yells too loud he beats her all night
What do you do when your big brother goes to jail?
He's your protector now your life is hell
Your sister has a child out wedlock
And the baby's father is in the second cell block

Every Wednesday she's up at the jail throwin bricks
And on top of all that she's...

Abandon
Abandoned by her mother, left her alone and cold
She's cryin to herself, she's only six years old
Her mother said she was coming back in a few
But the girl knew that was lie before she was out of view
She had a habit of leaving and coming back real late
Chasing that high took her all over the state
Little did she know, her baby girl was getting raped
But by the nigga that she claimed owned the mask and cape
Superman she called him, here to save the day
But she gave him all love and pain went her childs way
She left her baby alone with him and he took...

Her eyes tell a story that her words do not
I am hurt because of the lack of honesty
But more than anything, I want to help
She looks up at me, gloom in her gaze
I grab her hand, feel how cold it is
I am frozen, not by just her grip
But by the forboding feeling in my gut
Fear paralyzes me and consumes my conscience
Then she smiles, the sky brightens and my sun has returned
She controls my atmosphere with a simple expression
She must not understand the extint to which my love runs
Its embedded in my soul and I feel it escape my pores
She exudes...

Thoughts
Your love compromises my thoughts
I try to run from this feeling but it’s my heart you’ve caught.
I love you in the worse way
So much that it hurts me
I know I shouldn’t feel this way so soon
But I already want to give you the moon
Anything you want that I have
Its all yours and up for grabs
I will try with all my might
All negative thoughts I will fight
I want to see you with no attachments
No old or past actions
To influence the thoughts I have of you now
I want to gain your love but I just don’t know how

cause of my inner strife

conflicted
