MY MUSE
The rain softly caresses the earth
Tiny diamonds if you could give them worth
Windows is misty
My soul feeling empty
Waiting on my muse
Lovely and witty
That one spark that lights my fuse
MAn! She's some kinda lady
Making glaring sunlight seem shady
Some kinda awesome
Brighter then the brightest blossom
Some kinda angel
Bringing rhyme to my ramble
So hard to define
This muse of mine
Woman with so much substance
Leaves me utterly entranced
My fingers scribble her beauty
And it flows...

quit playing
Hot and cold
Raging and bold
Fire and ice
Flick of the wrist
Throw of the dice
Staring at my empty fist
What is this spell?
Best not to dwell
Gambling all
Wowed is the fall
The stakes is high
My hart is on the line
I might lose a friend
And gain a golden heart instead
The cards are all dealt
The odds are long
Long since my heart has started to melt
If I play this wrong....
My hand feels strong
Tension stifles the air
What ass said”fair is fair”
Well I've laid down my cards
Nerves...
Raging and bold
Fire and ice
Flick of the wrist
Throw of the dice
Staring at my empty fist
What is this spell?
Best not to dwell
Gambling all
Wowed is the fall

My hart is on the line

I adam
I Adam
I was a god in eden
Purveyor of all to be seen
King lion bowed to me
My name echoed across every sea
I had total power
Every bee ,every flower
Paradise it was named
Ha!all that power,
And loneliness was my only friend
To all that beauty I was blind
Ashen seemed even the gayest flower
Compassionate...My,God creates you
My world ashen,what a lie
Gone was the blindness from my eye
Me,a God,and discovering beauty in a simple stone
Awed ,my vanity all gone
Woman my Gods greatest creation
Woman...
I was a god in eden

by chance or fate?
A dream ,so vivid, awoke me
I'm not alone in this bed,an angel has occupied
Laying there lost in reverie
To this woman irrevocably tied
Counting my blessings as she sigh
God I'm the luckiest guy
She drips Tranquility into the room
Making daylight come too soon
By chance we met
A day never to regret
A face screaming to be adored
an angel and truly favored
Closer I ventured
Silent prayers that my resolve don't waver
Closer still as my feet turned to lead
Heart rattling in my chest
as you gave me your number and...
I'm not alone in this bed,an angel has occupied

circle of belief
Grace...
Did you know she has a face?
Forgotten ... She's too commonplace
Accepted as a birthright
Grace...
Forgotten not in absence
Woefull
Reproachful,and humble
All these,till her entrance!
Humility flees
Forgotten are the tears
Recitation becomes the prayers
Opulence...,bears no fears
“God” has no place in these“ golden years”
Oh!wowed calamity!!
Down on bent knee
Appears fabled humility
Hoping,praying for salvation
Your human eyes misty ...
Did you know she has a face?

finding my heart
Awed!
Summer announced itself with authority
Sun beating down in all severity
Even the ants seemed lazy...
As I trail their journey
Hunched over entranced...
Appears a pair of the most petite feet
Stunned my traveling eyes refocused,
Noticing the nails,colored and neat
Getting up and my vision clears
Heatstroke!!
That was my first fear
An angel?...here?
Suddenly parched and devoid of speech
Heart hammering,ears ringing
Taming my body is what I seek
With a cracking voice“ hey” is all I manage...

A simple look ...
and I feel prized
A simple glance...
And You bring down the stars
My soul is causing havock in my body
My actions disoriented and clumsy
Emotion so vivid inside of me
Begging to burst free
Controlling my mind
or trying to
My senses assaulted...
What a glorious portrait that is you!!
A romantic caught up in rhyme
Could you ever be mine?
I open my mouth but no words from it sprout
I saw the physical
Was amazed at the spiritual
So many hearts lust after you still
But pursue you I...

unfinished dance
If only you knew....
The morning breeze touches my furrowed brow
I'm awake..
All these emotions,no sleep for me now
I danced with a unicorn last night
A fabled creature of immense light
Beauty far beyond my vocabulary's might
All over I've searched today
Looking for you my lovely lady
Only to find you
Being proposed to
Here I stand flowers in hand
Heart on my sleeve....
My fate is to watch you leave
