another one
If I was you and you was me then you could see what I can see
An outstretched arm then your gone
Off to fail another one
A soundless scream a lasting pain
Another's blood running through my veins
A dying song then your gone off to sing another one
A winding path an endless road
Littered with seeds I've sewed
Who knows what's to come when the journeys finally done
A heedless call to you all
Picked up then told to fall
A cry for help then your gone
Off to trip another one
A persicution yet no crime
A vision from blind eyes
I looked...

all alone
I can't sleep because of my afflictions
I'm not like your depiction of me
Your a walking contradiction for all to see
The pubs and clubs I frequently frequent
Give me time that's heaven sent
Because I wasted so much time I'm spent
My heart was not a home
A lonely vagrant soul I now roam
Dancing to life's more sombre tones

you look away
In a crowded room I'm all alone
With everyone I'm on my own
I look across and see your face
Someone else who's out of place
My face suddenly welcomes a smile
It stretches as long as a country mile
I look across to catch your eye
I take a breath and release a sigh
My head is filled with things to say
But you never look
You just turn away

I still dream
Existence is all I possess
I'm a world that continues to press
Head and heart divided in two teams
A world come undone at the seems
Wealth and respect gave away
Found riches another way
Secrets never to come clean
Still like a child with my dreams
All colours turn to black
No turning round no going back
Lost sight of all I've seen
Lost track of where I've been
Older than I wish to stay
Tripping over obstacles in my way
Fake niceness is just so mean
But I still hold onto the dream
I'm a world that continues to press

desperate dan
His name was desperate dan
Scrounging was his plan he takes all he can
You give and he will take
Don't make that mistake the man's a fake
Manipulates his way through
Every avenue until he reaches you
I've seen this all before
The banging on your door wanting more
You better be on que
You'll Rue the things you do when he takes advantage of you
His name is desperate dan
Selfishness is his plan he'll take all he can
Any woman that may fall
Well he will take for all then never call
He will keep all he lends
Then he will...

I've been a fool and I know it
My head and heart speak out loud and I just don't know how to show it
My car crashed and burned
Everybody took there turn
They all put there boot in an you find this very suiting yes you do
Can't believe I once looked upto you
Follow me and you just might blow it
I've got my pride my heart will sing and show it
So my plain never took flight
Now everybody thinks it's right to voice there view
Especially you
Thing is we can only do what we can do

Wash my hands clean and set the scene
The hours of the day are dripping away
No wrong or right no black or white
With you I wanna stay
Light the candle light the wick
Fill the air with music
Never felt so fine just wasting time
You breath me out and I breath you in a love without sin
Feels so fine just knowing your mine
In this place smile on my face
Sky so blue wasting time with you
No reason to whinge no reason to whine
I'm fine because your mine

raindrops on the window
Raindrops on windows
Outside a cold wind blows
This is my second number one
The first ones been and gone
A burning fire for all to see
A flame still flickers inside of me
Embers bursting back to flames
I no longer feel the aches and pains
Raindrops drip on the window bay
The fire keeps the demons away
Reflections become so clear
The smoke around me starts to clear
Raindrops on the window quietly say
Button you're coat and come and play
This is no poker face
I'm content infront of my fireplace

Ide pay to see you smile
For its brighter than the sun
And all the love you give
You don't really get none
You're so warm and as pure as snow
Best of all you don't even know
You hide away behind your shyness
Your so clean in a world of mess
Changing the subject like some coy goddess
Owner of such beauty and you don't know how true
How I long to wrap my arms around you
As I long as I yearn to be the sun in your sky so blue
I know I'm just one in the cue

burdened
Come take a walk with me
Away from the filth and prying eyes of the city
Scoop up some sunshine wash the past off you're face
Let's untie yesterday's bootlace
This burdens become a heavy load
To heavy to carry and hold
No bandage can hold old wounds together
You're heart can't cry tears of blood forever
Suddenly the sun never seemed so cold
The weight of you're burdens to heavy to hold
Sweep it under the carpet it's still under your feet
Its a slap round the face to admit defeat
Come take a walk let the sand burn our toes
Even in this heat...

I saw you see me watching you
In my mind a much sinister view
I've undressed you many times
Watch you touch me made you mine
Heard you laugh and heard you moan
Made you're body and soul my own
Tasted your tongue and felt your lips
Felt my hands squeeze you're hips
All this in a glancing sight
So wrong just feels so right
