Kneeling besides your open grave
All I see is dirt and emptiness
Where you lie I do not know

I still can see your eyes
I beg to feel your lips on mine
your skin against me

The light you had, brightened a shell of a man

I don’t know why you left
Never thought I’d have to say goodbye
Just one more kiss I scream
Your light is gone, I can’t feel it anymore

I feel so dead inside

G-d no longer answers my screams
My accusations are only meet with silence
This empty grave is the only answer I have

Dreams
I dream with my heart. Dreaming with my heart produces the most horrific nightmares.
When I dream, I am with you.
When I awake, I awake to emptiness. Emptiness is the spot where you used to lie.
The spot where I’d kiss you awake. The spot where I’d wrap my arms around you.
Arms around you, I fall back to bliss.
Dreams of you are nightmares. I am with you every night.
Every morning I lose you all over again.
