DRUGS POEM

Time For Change!
We were all together, eating dinner and spending time it was great. This hasn't happened since they used to be sober, I wish today never had to be over.
We were smiling, and laughing, joking around..they even seemed in love again.
It was so nice to see them together, smiling so happily enjoying family times. We always used to be that way..til life got bad and the drugs took them away.
I sure do miss those days, I'd give anything for them back.
Now that the hustle is back on they are always fighting or she's always gone.
Tonight though, was so different Dad hung out...

Trust
The word that lurks in peoples minds..
The word that no one can ever find.
The work that destroys relationships and lives,
The word that hurts me all the time.
I cannot fight it, hide from it, or run away..
yet I just don't understand it.
I want it. I crave it. I'll do everything I can to get it.
But, no matter what I do, its never good enough. Not for you.
I always dream of how happy we would be.
You and me....If only you put some trust into us!!
Why? Why cant you, just please!
your making my heart bleed. Cant you see?
Open your eyes...
The word that no one can ever find.

Together & Apart
I cant sleep without having bad dreams,
I cant eat without pain in my stomach,
I'm lost here all alone. Lost with no where to go, hoping he'll come back home to the one place we know so great.
Where we make our memories together and grow stronger in our love.♥
Together we are one. Together we can conquer the world.
Split apart we're lonely and cold, scared and hurt, lost as I am now.
Why do you always have to go? Your games are just getting old.
Your always angry never thankful, your taking life for granite.
Relax a little bit we still...

Forever My Life
Your my world, my life.
You make me feel good inside and so alive.
When life gets me down, your always right there to pick me back up.
Sometimes we don't get along, but nobody ever said love would be easy. That's why we are in it for the bad and the good even if we have to go rounds.
I said forever and I will not fail you, no matter what it takes.
A promise is a promise..and one like that is not one to break.
I never knew I would be so in love, but you just stole my heart.
Who could resist those deep blue eyes, perfect smile that lights up anyone's life, and sexy...

Feel My Pain Drown In My Cries
Do you want me gone? Am I something you frown upon?
Do I make you sick? Break out in a sweat? Quiver painfully like your dying? Grind your teeth and bite your tongue? Holding back the pain...the tears...the guilt...the shame?
[b][b]The fact that I was just a baby, and there's only [b]YOU to blame[/b]!!![/b][/b]
Do you panic late at night? See my face when you close your eyes?
Are you scared to be alone? Are you scared to be in the dark?
Could you look me in the eyes? Would you even apologize?
Do you have an answer why? Do you have night terrors almost...

Still Holding On, Trying Not To Say Good-bye
She goes about her day as if it doesn't hurt her.
Hoping that he'll see her pain,maybe stop a minute to hold her.
Look at her with his deep blue, dreamy, loyal eyes and tell her he loves her til' the end of time,the way he used to do.
She wishes she could spend time with him, quit sharing him with everyone else..
For once, just keep him to herself.
He's always gone, never home. She feels so all alone.
She tries to live a life, but he's just so manipulating and controls her through the inside mind.
Still she goes about her day dealing with the pain....

My Unknown Side
My palms are sweating, my heartbeat is racing, my head is spinning wild,
As im introduced to the eccentric, intense, powerful burst of anger that quickly over comes my mind and soul, piercing a horrible pain through my body I've never felt before.
Eventually realizing in the back of my mind im not me anymore...
I'm something evil,un-explainable.
Unknown.
I ignore the thought in the back of my mind, raging through our home destroying us and our good times...not stopping til it hurts.. I grind my teeth,pull my hair,scratch my face causing pain.

Do you see my pain? Do you hear my cries? Do you feel me reaching out to you with open arms?
I'll lead you to reality, I'll lead you to the light. I'll lead you to the good times you never meant to leave behind.
I miss you. I wish you would come back, why be such a tease then go behind our backs? You did so good with us...you held us in your hands...you showed us what a mother was then reneged once again.
Your word means nothing now. You are not loyal nor true...not to me, or my brother.
You betrayed us. Walked all over us.
I put my trust in you,one last time I gave you...
