I have been writing on and off since middle school. I write on a wide range of topics, however, I tend to lean more towards the darker side of poetry. Topics I enjoy writing about the most include addiction, depression and life in general.

An Abandoned Tomorrow
"I am forever," is what he said,
lost in a dream he never had.
Sitting up in a diamond filled sky,
though something so good can often be bad.
The dreams he chased were nightmares instead,
but he could not tell, it seemed so real.
The flames in his eyes are now smoky and grey,
he'll often touch just to feel.
Looking back on a time when the sky was the limit,
And all of the stars seemed within our reach.
Now although we can fly, the stars are burnt out,
with nothing left to learn or teach.

The forgotten
Wandering eyes do tell
A tale of true despair.
An innocent left behind,
with empty eyes and satin hair.
She wanders the barren halls,
Searching yet unable to find.
The surviving fragment of sanity,
In the deepest sinews of her mind.
The strands of hope have faded,
A light that shines no more.
Echos of a forgotten yesterday,
Like footsteps on the floor.
Her essence will remain,
Long after her mortal self is gone.
For she will never depart,
This place...

DRUGS POEM

Everyday
Everyday's the same, living in a trance.
It all began the day I gave drugs a chance.
Used to be the smart kid, always the head of class.
Its amazing how with just one line it all could fall so fast.
Slowly growing further from all my other friends,
With all of these great things who has time for them?
Nodding in and out as life slowly passes by,
You live, you get high and then one day you'll die.
I lie down on my bed as my buzz starts coming down,
Then I rub my eyes and I take a look around.
Nothing in my bedroom cause I sold it...

A Lost Soul
You finally decide it's time
to take a running start.
But your dreams come crashing down
before your feet begin to part.
Now you're spinning and you're churning
Just waiting for the ground.
And you try to scream and holler
but your heartbeat is the only sound.
Then your realize all your dreams are
simply slipping through your fingers.
And that the sudden clouds of
Hopelessness have now begun to linger.
The light is slowly fading
Like the flame within your soul.
Then in a storm of pain and sorrow

The candlestick
Your love is like a candlestick
that burns within my soul
The wind like many other things
will try to blow it cold
The flame is warm and glowing
Like me when I'm with you
I melt slowly like candle wax
from a caress so soft and true
But we must protect that candlestick
and keep the flame alive
For the fire may burn out
at any given time

Whats the point of living when you rather would be dead?
Unless you are a bullet stay out of my fucking head.
I'm so sick of all your lies and the bullshit that you spread.
You only wish to know exactly what I haven't said.
Underground is all that I am destined to be.
You may as well be blind because you'll never really see.
Hold onto your own and just let go of me.
Leave me alone and let me finally be free.
Unless you are a bullet stay out of my fucking head.

Synesthesia
Can you hear the darkness?
Can you smell the fear?
Can you see the hopelessness?
Can you taste the tears?
Can you touch the loneliness
that lies beneath the pain?
Can you breath the emptiness
that is almost insane?
The rush of color inthat scream?
The sound of that silent cry?
The aftertaste of a haunting dream?
The tingle of that exquisite high?

The Junkie
He walks down the street in a world all his own,
His eyes are on fire, he's perpetually stoned.
He can't even function without his little white pills.
They fills him with passions, hatred and chills.
He wanders on aimlessly with a nose full of coke,
And to think it all started with one simple toke.
Grass, blow and uppers in his pocket they lay.
Just waiting for someone who's willing to play.
You see, the drugs they stick by him, they help him pulls through.
They let him do things he never thought he could do.

Namdam's Chronicle
Born from the hate of the world, he lives for the fear in their eyes.
To twisted to live yet to rare to simply die.
If asked the wrong question he would turn and walk away.
He demonstrated a sort of supernatural immortality.
Beneath his outer layer you could never really see.
The pools of darkness in his eyes revealed no mysteries.
Molded from the cruelty that human beings portray.
Any lurking bit of sanity he would quickly slay.
To stare deep within his eyes reveals a sort of vacancy.
Scars on his arms tell stories of his past...

Emptiness
Life winds us down the path that we fear to walk alone,
The kind that's lined with houses but not a single home.
A risky sort of gamble where our fate is the prize,
intertwined by greed and evil, twisted in with lies.
Not sure of the purpose but hoping soon to know.
To afraid to ask yet not wanting to know.
Guilty by association and it was never right.
Live by the system and you'll never win the fight.
The mortal and the demons cannot be drawn apart
For the purest evil of all comes from within the human heart.
Lacking in...

Fear, Love, Pain, Denial,
Staring out the window through the eyes of a child.
Eyes full of fire, spirit gone wild
Wanting to run, the finish the mile.
Fought it, wanted it, lost it, gone.
End of flowers, End of song.
Stumbling, Falling, Moping Along.
A picture of pain so delicately drawn.
Won some, lost some, from high to low.

Stay Away From Who I Am
Stay away from who I am,
You won't get very far.
I used to give a damn,
but you can never fix the scars.
You'll never know my game,
Don't ask me how I feel.
When I hang my head in shame
Are you sure those tears are real?
It doesn't matter if I scare you,
You will never really see.
Don't try to be a friend,
When I don't want to be me.
What is this I'm turning into?
You can never feel my pain.
You couldn't even begin to
And I have only me to blame.
