Building a house ( 1/10/10)
My family is like constructing a house.
My mother is the tool that helps put everything together,
she helps us grow, becoming adults.
My father, the walls that are protecting the inside,
always feeling safe around him.
My brother is the pesty board that doesn't always fit, yet we will never let him go.
I am the owner, the girl standing in the middle of the empty room.
I am the one who is protected and who is growing up.
I am the one who love the pesty board the most.
I am the one who is always there.

To Understand
Take it for what it is, life.
No one truly understands why or how things happen.
Some realize it sooner than later,
Life happens when its ready
People except it when they want
Nature on the other hand,
It grows
Nature lives on, no matter what
No one can stop it,
So few can understand it
With that, keep thinking
Never stop learning
Accept or change
Realize both of those are part of the game.

Consistant?
Wanting that attention I don’t think I deserve,
Wanting that first message, the call.
No emotion involved,
The good slowly becomes a blurr.
All I ask is consistency,
Don’t make me wonder and ponder.
I overthink as is,
Your help is not needed.
What has changed in 24,
I thought it was a good time.
Slowly the worst creeps in.
The unknown of when it will all end.
Just like the time before,
It starts like that again.
Run Run Run,
Comes to mind.
Fool me twice, well done.
Fool me three times. ...

When waves run to the sand
When groupies cling to the band
The energy keeps growing
My anxiety is showing
This is all the same
I’ve played this little game
Creating a mess in my head
What was the last thing I said
I’m mixing myself up
My mind has become corrupt

Clockwork
Like clockwork it feels I have been here before,
Unknown what is yet to come.
Feeling hopeless and lonely,
Especially after this weekend.
Things were well from what I would tell,
Possibly, you think differently.
Mind is racing scared of the future,
Should I just call it.
Once again, I am stuck, wondering,
Was it me, what did I do?
If this is the third time,
There will be no more.
Let go, see through,
That’s all I can say.
My heart is telling me to stay,
Unknown what is yet to come.
Feeling hopeless and lonely,
Especially after this weekend.

Wanting to start over.
Realizing it could have been prevented.
I am only one half,
Still skittish in my actions.
Not sure how to react next.

The storm of emotions
The uncontrollable feeling of want
Its all very new
All very unexpected
There is this pressure in my chest
One that happens when I see him
When I think about him
I crave the feeling
When I lay in his arms

Impermanence
Leaves which blow through the park,
their beauty uplifted by the wind.
Only until they hit their end
Waves rising to their maximum feet,
their strength from the body of the ocean.
only until their whitecaps hit the sand.
The sun coloring the sky,
narrowing down by the darkness of night.
Only until it fully fades.
The thought of endless worry,
brought by the unknown.
Only to fade into beauty.
Expecting an end to come soon,
the time is to tell.
Only to realize its the beginning.
