THIS IS MY FUCKING HOME
and I am not alone.

I gotta take care of Dianne
otherwise, I will walk up to slit your throat
and slam this aluminum baseball bat across your jaw
and with the next draw shove it (unlubed)

THE COCKROACH ON THE SCALE
THE COCKROACH ON THE SCALE
the scale did not register his weight as he crossed across the scale's lever.
The dial remained motionless, refusing to move for such a small and insignificant being.
Although this creature was not concerned with its particular size nor body weight,
unceased by neither hate nor disease, his eyes lied upon the numbered platter
where its brothers and sisters had multiplied, sprayed in display, where all have died.
He and his brethren had become strong soldiers of survival
without a significant rival
and would sneak to...

One may perceive a deadly disease
as the cool breeze eases through the leaves of the trees
One may experience a giddy joy
not felt since they were a little boy
watching moonbeams glisten off of the blood on the blade
and his favorite childhood toy that he made
all beings make up the human race
One may perceive a twisted face
imbedded within the gnarled knots and veins
of a stained piece of wood
while another seeks out a length of pure pine
to see imbedded into a blood-stained face ...
