through the storm
its pouring outside. the raindrops run down my skin. still their waters cant put out the fire from within. the fire that burns for you each day. it truly burns hotter than any words can purely say. i want to hold you close and dance through the storm. soon the sun returns from slumber and we can dance when it is warm. i sit here alone with drips from my head. wish i were dancing in the rain ...................... with you instead

the mighty oak (recovering addict)
a little over a year ago a seed was planted in the soil that promised a better life. this seed was so unsure of what to do next. not knowing how to grow. not knowing how to live. perfectly content in the darkness of the known. so scared to reach out not knowing what might come.
but slowly and surely it began to grow, inching closer and closer to the light. it took a chance and sprouted up into the world. still just as scared still just as fragile. then it noticed it wasn't alone anymore. there were other seeds that had sprouted too.

feet to feet
you stand in front of me feet to feet. i stare at you and ours meet. eyes so golden brown as if they were honey from a hive. looking into them makes me feel alive. my hand slowly caressing your hair so soft so beautifully black. you kiss my lips waiting for me to melt into yours back. my hand slowly move down to your hips, feeling the chills with my fingertips. not knowing or caring what the next moment has in store. for everything about you i truly adore. we kiss and we hug and we fight the goodnight. i still think of you even out of my sight. in dreams of you i know will be there. cant wait...

empty bed
i lie here alone in this empty bed. wishing you were beside me in my arms instead. your so far away not in this place. but i can still see the bright smile your face. i can smell the softness that comes from your skin. i can still taste the sweat that pours from within. missing the warmth of your sweet everything. thinking of you sometimes makes my head ring. cant wait until we are together once more . to show you how much of you i truly adore.

i miss you tonight, where you are i cant be. that doesn't stop the memory. there are people and places with smiles are there faces.
they're trying they're best to keep us apart. that all besides i know that i need you with all of my heart.

the questions
is there something out there? something i cannot see? is there truly a power greater them we? was there a big bang that started it all? if so then how did the bang fall?
is this life all there is or will there be more? will i be aware of the next life when my body hits the floor?
is there something inside of me that has more worth? is all that i have this time on this earth? what does it matter earth heaven or hell?

tears down my face
i sit here pondering all of my sins. the tears down my face so moist on my skin. if i could take back the past and make it not real. then somehow i could change the way that i feel.
i miss them so much the three most beautiful people i know. they are so far away. in a land where it snows. in a place that is safe a place that is fun,it snows sometimes but sometimes there's sun.
if i could hold them right now them right now they would know i am sad. if i could hold them right now i would feel like a dad.

i crave your beauty in what seems like yesterdays tomorrow. the moments we have together are not owned but only borrowed. i miss the purpose i see when i look into your face. no matter what else the world has going on.no matter the time or the place. it all slows down and gets more pure when you are near. these words that i type i so badly want you to hear. the glow in your smile my fingers brushing your hair over your ear. may seem like like nothing to some but i hold them both dear.i cant wait to see you again................ you give me peace , in a lifetime of pain.

my love,i pushed away out of my life you aren't my kids my family my ex wife. you came in many forms liquid pill a bottle a stick. now when i think of you it makes me feel sick!
you were my whole life my love my everything. guess what without you i can see the sun, feel the wind, enjoy hearing a bird sing. its hard to believe only an hour to a year. i don't need you anymore i no reason to fear!

will we end up together forever? who knows how the cards will play.
i can tell this much. i love you as you are in this moment on this day.
