POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Poet Introduction
I try, ry try to make an honest person out of my dishonest self, as all humans will.
sonnet 13
sonnet 13
1/13/13
a valley of darkness shadows and light
hosts a mirage of birds and animals
some of the variety take flight
to bring to themselves a mate by call
trees surround a mountain fed by a stream
snow tumbles-rumbles into a white sphere
as pierced noises forgive with a loud scream
out from the snow a bright eye peeks and peers
cheerful animals bit, nip as they play
others run, leap as they follow the hunt
in this kingdom life carries every day
the smash of a tree is ever-so...

Inspirational eyes
In his eyes I saw a sort of madness, just before he leapt to battle. This was not any specific madness, but the type you liked on your side, but preferred he didn’t have at all. This madness is uncontrollable, is a way of life. You see in his eyes I saw insanity, mediocrity, scytsofrenia. In his startling blue eyes you could see the way you would die, how you would live. In those emotionless eyes you wished him be gone. You wished you were never born.
With eyes so powerful you could see so very far. So in a way the...

Bluebird
why oh why must the bluebird cry?
is it because all mothers must die?
or overt the rainbow it cant fly?
even that its wings can never dry
did he get sand in his little eyes?
why oh why must the bluebird weep
as rain does fall from heavens keep
the blood from the beasts does ever seep
as on the branch his sister does creep
clacking her wings and whisking her beak
why oh why does the bluebird wail?
maybe its because the rainbow is frail?
or is it that none can prevail

aging
I saw for the first time a second of my kind. A second person who can bring with them what I bring to the table in my own group of friends. I saw again for the first time a person just like me in every aspect but one. They were perfect for me. They were me, myself, and I. Except for the eyes, those blank meaningless eyes.
I saw there was a first time for anything. That anything can happen. That everything imaginable can happen truthfully and honestly before our own eyes. I saw a portrayal of the truth in myself, as I saw the perfect me for the first time that wasn’t the actual me. I saw...

Try
Try
A Contemplation for the minds desire.
I felt as though a part of me was dying. Every time I did this. I feel as though before I was completely dead I could do this a thousand times more. I try to prove I am not a soulless mortal. I try not to let the arrogance in all of humanity show through me. I try not to show my own faults, while not trying to be perfect at the same time.
But that is all you can do. Try. And try.
Try not to cry when your heart is broken, time and time again.
Try not to cry when that special things memory enters your mind...

2/23/13
and pages turn ever so countlessly
thinking, breathing, such wonderful fables
as people look to them with scrutiny
sitting below the willows or maples
eyes flickering over the stories words
taking in a new character not lost
learning more of adjectives, nouns and verbs
learning anew at any given cost
getting to know an author who can write
of such fantasies unthought by others
whose mind is so very, extremely, bright
whose thoughts are always those that smother
in death authors leave legacy

sonnet #2
sonnet 2
1/2/13
black skies paint our ever-altering world
billions of people show their great evils
peace is unattainable by our wars
the good of our kind is sheltered by veils
darkness finds its way through the brightest cracks
shadowing our good with ever yet bad
the good in our world still severely lacks
this truth makes the good furthermore sad
generosity prevails in the young
those who don't know yet to be very mean
reverence in these children is unsung
unlike those whose morals are very lean
though very few are very kind
there...

sonnet 32
2/1/.13
juniper blooming in white honeybrew
white roses twirling into a river
purple lavender with white lilies blew
the white birch trees cackle as they titter
the bluebirds sing in emerald green light
the black wolves howl in green melodies
the polar bears seek the green glowing white
as we fight a green ware with our enemies
the structures we leave in a crater black
blacken the expansions of our great world
and they run in black fear when we attack

sonnet #4 dreamscape
and with magic comes faultless fantasy
in which only the bravest dreams come true
and with love comes most extreme agony
when your feelings come straight out of the blue
and with fear comes greatest self awareness
in which you find what you truly live for
with wisdom comes never a second guess
to give to the public oh ever more
and with knowledge comes faultless arrogance
that blinds you at every other turn
and with ability comes confidence
to where you feel you cannot even learn
and...
