POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
metafarcical
Are you happy earning money selling shit to people that they don't need so that you can by shit you don't need?
On your death bed will you say your life has been successful because of the amount of stuff you have?
Will you be grateful for time you got to spend in front of your 50 inch plasma TV?
Responsibilty
When your body starts to fail will you say its not my fault i have diabetes? its not my fault i have to have a quadruple bypass? its not my fault i have chronic arthritis?
When you was sitting watching that flickering screen watching other people doing...

A blow by blow account
Strong enough to survive
Too weak to escape
Strong enough to understand
Too weak to prevent
Strong enough to suffer
Too weak to defend
Strong enough to bend
Too weak to break
Too weak to escape
Strong enough to understand
Too weak to prevent
Strong enough to suffer
Too weak to defend
Strong enough to bend
Too weak to break

Hope
She is hoping he doesn't notice
Not all of her is here with him
She is secretly daydreaming
A 'what if' somewhere else
She is hoping he doesn't notice
His coldness is pushing her away
She's been touched by a star
Dreams of basking in its warmth
She is hoping he doesn't notice
In his presence her heart beats faster
She's been enchanted by his spirit
Hopelessly resisting his draw
She is hoping he doesn't notice
Her skin is flushed, she's lost her words
She is blinded by his light
Left feeling vulnerable and confused
