LOVE POEM

Yes! Go!
What if by yes, I meant no
What if by stay, I meant go
What if I love you
Meant I wanted to die
What would you do
Would you even cry
Or would you pretend it was okay
That I'll be able to move on the next day
Would you ignore my cries
Would you continue your lies
Would you let me believe you did care
Would you still be there
What if by of course, I meant not a chance
What if by sort of, I meant not even in a trance
If I said I was fine, would you see
That something was bothering me
If tears were coming down, but I said I was okay...

Stranger
My heart's in danger
It was stolen by a stranger
Whom I thought I knew
But I knew it was too good to be true
It started out great
For his call, I couldn't wait
I felt important, I felt wanted
Now by these feelings, I'm being haunted
I should have never been the one to say
The words to make it this way
Love shouldn't feel this way
Love shouldn't hurt this way
You never said the words to me
The words to set me free
Was this what you wanted all along
Influence me to do the thing that's wrong
To be with you was my choice
Now...

Who I Am
A piano melody rings in my ears
Filling my mind with memories
Flashing back from many years
I was a child out on the lake
I chose to do something
To find it was a mistake
My firsst day at school, everything went great
A few years later to find
I was the one everyone chose to hate
The first funeral, everyone would cry
I was the one that was ready and knew
It was time to say goodbye
My first love, falling into a deep hole
He was my world
And my heart he stole
Encaged in darkness, the death all around
I lost...
Filling my mind with memories

I Fear
If you are the expert of of love
I fear falling
If you are the presence of hurt
I fear calling
If you are the thorns on the rose
I fear beauty
If you are the bullets in war
I fear duty
If you are the silence in the night
I fear sleeping
If you are the casket
I fear weeping
If you are the inspiration of the unconscious
I fear dreaming
If you are the murderer in secret
I fear screaming
If you are the charity of love
I fear giving
If you are the wonders of life
I fear living
If you are the cost
I fear buying...

Secretly
I'm holding a secret so dear.
It's filled with excitement and fear.
It's the sun and the moon.
The morning and afternoon.
It's the knowledge of the world and me.
It's the beauty beneath the sea.
It's the petals on a rose.
It's the secret no one knows.
It's the rainbow in the rain.
It's the stripe of a candy cane.
It's the clouds up in the sky,
but it's also the tears in my eyes.
It's the blood on a skinned knee.
It's the hurt of what used to be.
It's the darkness in the night.

Decaying of A Soul
She felt the thorns on her heart
The tongue on her skin
Little did she know
She was flirting with sin
Her eyes flashed, turned to stone
Fading brilliant blue to grey
Her whimpers lost within her voice
She was left alone in a darkened way
Forgetting her lungs
Longing for air
Her frozen stature
Death's embrace has fallen there
Cause the thorns stabbed her heart
