POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Like Two Doves
We were together flying
As if we were two doves
Off into the white clouds
Just you and I
I had no idea you were gone
Until I looked-
And you were no longer
Flying by my side
I have to ask you, WHY?
Did a gust of wind
Blow you away?
Or is it just a storm
That we are waiting
To pass us by?
The thunder still
Beats off and on
In my lonely soul
And I ask myself-
Will I ever fly again?
Or will my broken wings
Keep me grounded...
Forever?
As if we were two doves
Off into the white clouds
Just you and I
I had no idea you were gone
Until I looked-
And you were no longer
Flying by my side
I have to ask you, WHY?
Did a gust of wind
Blow you away?
Or is it just a storm
That we are waiting
To pass us by?
The thunder still
Beats off and on
In my lonely soul
And I ask myself-
Will I ever fly again?
Or will my broken wings
Keep me grounded...
Forever?

One Sided Romance
..Weary is this heart- that loves without reciprocation
... Naive is this soul-that believed my love could change it
...Fear is my weakness-I never really meant to fall
...Empty is this plea-for it will land upon deaf ears
...Broken is this breath-for your kiss was only but a lie
...Ignorant is this mind-for absorbing the words you said
...Reaching is my hand-for you were never really there
...Fading is my faith-for I can no longer see your halo
...Stifling is my hell-for I created it passionately alone
...Gone is my hope-for you've proven how you feel ...
