POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Poet Introduction
In the very depth of my heart I love what is dragging my soul to the wild side
RECOURSE
They did not understand
They never will understand
My broken soul, and smile so foul
They ask you know
And when they do in my heart a lump grow
But I tell them
That I saw you in a stream
It could have been a dream
Though so uncensored
You were perfect
A magnificent air flowing around you
The right friends
The right career
Your free life enticed me, And I fell
The kind of fall no one ever wants to rise
I danced to your music
Got lost to it
Even when the beat stopped,I kept dancing
The silence of the...

PLEDGE TO LOVE
I feel something like love, tugging at the corners f my mouth
I hear someone like love, calling for me from deep in the south
I see something like love, inviting me to join the banquet
I want to break free and run to it
But somewhere between lifting my foot up in the air and putting it back to the ground
Courage departs from my frail bones
My knees shake and wobble in denial
My soul is willing but in my brain a voice is screaming urging me to turn down the invitation
My mouth refuses to produce something...

Stuck
The bays of splendour are ringing
Rays of the sun searing through the windows to my soul
Far fetched joy in the horizon beckoning to me
I can't move
I can't feel
The sound of music is no longer blissful
What's left feels like droning echoes in a torn continent
Anger in me boils
Dissilutioning the radiance my eyes see
'Tis not a bad day
But the ghosts of a past life haunt me
Not because I was wrong
But cause I had the power to confront but....
I bailed
So...
The bays of splendour are ringing

Rainbow
My tranquilized soul sorrows
Tears are the only thing I know
The sun is bidding me bye
And my tormented thoughts run
My vision fails to see things
In black and white
I can see the rainbow gathering
Reminding me of the just injustice
The red for the red liquid they shed and not flinch
The orange for the evening sun that feel romantic no more
The yellow for the spring tulips that closed their petals for this winter storm
Green, the color of chlorophyll that now appears as only a pigmentation in our perceived lands of bounty
The blue...
