Chase
I let her chase me,
And so she did…
When she got tired
I let her rest.
When she was hungry
I gave her food
When she was thirsty
I gave her drink.
When she was homeless
I gave her shelter
But I never let her catch me.
But she never stopped chasing
Suddenly she left me
She gave up the chase
That’s when I wished
She got me in the end
Love is strange, it is bizarre
Never fall in it, is what I’ve learnt so far.
And so she did…
When she got tired
I let her rest.

Stupid answers
She asked me if she was pretty,
And I said no
She asked if she was fat,
And I said she was…
She asked me if I wanted her
And I said no
She asked if I would cry if she went away,
I said no I wouldn’t
Then she turned her back on me and walked away
Slowly, heart-breaking, as tears started falling
Then I grabbed her hand and told her to stay.
Then I said,
You aren’t pretty,
you’re beautiful…
And the only thing that’s fat,
is your heart.
I don’t want you.
I need you.
And if you left me, I wouldn’t cry…
I would...
And I said no

You dare lecture me?
On growing up and responsibility?
No, you haven’t lived my life, you’re not me.
So don’t try to pretend you understand…please.
Because the truth is you don’t know anything!
So thus you can’t say anything!
You will never, ever decipher my life,
It’s full of twists and turns, if you have yet to realize.
My life is confusing, my life is weird.
I may seem brave, but I have many fears.
I may not look short tempered, but I have no fuse.
Their misconceptions caused by this mask I’ve used.
Because of this mask...

Helllooo???!!!
I called for his name, he just taunted me and mouthed the words I said
When I tried to tap him to grab his attention, but he just tapped me back
When I showed him a book, he too held one in his hand and flashed it back.
When I tried to give him something, is mimicked me and did so back.
His world was just like mine, just as vile, just as evil, just as cruel
The best thing was, he was like me, unlike his horrid world.
Everything I did, he mimicked the action, when I hit him, he hit me back.
When I was mad, he was too, when I was...

Why is the sky still blue??
As if it has never experienced sadness??
Why are the clouds still so white??
As if they haven’t been stained with the world pollution
Why is the grass so green??
Like it only feels the joys, not the sorrows??
Why is the sun still yellow?
Why does it shine like it’s always happy??
Then I met a sorcerer, who looked into my heart
He took it out of me and examined it thoroughly
Then he said,’ Hey! This is quite unique!’
He said, ‘you are said the light that brings darkness’
Am I really the dark gloomy...

People mock and make fun of me, because they underestimate my abilities.
Why? I’m surprised you’ve forgotten the reason why you forgot.

Crying
As I lay on the roof of this high rise building,
My life worthless, my heart, breaking…
Thinking if I should take the one way elevator down
All the way back to the depths of hell.
The air was cold... so frighteningly cold…
Like my broken heart, and the soul I’ve sold…
No one is up here, no one is around…
I can take of my mask, I can cry and cry…
Falling in love is awfully simple…
But falling out of love is simply awful.
I’m suddenly afraid of love…afraid of falling
I wonder which hurts more, Death or Love?
They only see my back,...

Better
I look around the crowded canteen,
I pray to God saying,’ kill me’
They are talented, gifted and blessed…
While I’m cursed roam these horrid lands…
They’re better than me...so much better…
People compare me to them, saying I’m bad.
“He’s so good at math, he’s so great at music”
“Then why don’t you adopt them? Since your son is so damned!”
I was thirsty for attention, I craved it so much…
I tried my best, but my best was never enough.
I was a jack of all trades, master of none.
I never stood out, I always got nothing.

My facade in tatters, my cover blown.
I tried to find my identity, but the bird has flown…
The mask I’ve fought so hard to protect,
Has been crushed by the reality, I’ve had to accept…
Conquest lies beyond the horizon…
Challenge it because you know you can’t reach it.
Beware of the people you tell you, ‘believe’
They are your enemy, the devil you can’t see…
My mind is empty, like my heart and soul,
My life’s missing so much, I can’t fill in its holes.

Fireheart
I’m blazing, burning, hurting…
I’m surrounded by embers, constantly flaring.
Hope is worthless, kindness is pointless,
I didn’t know that, that’s why I’m here.
Who will join me in this forsaken land?
Where the grass is red and the sun is black.
Fire under every crevice, under every crack,
On a ghost lake, in a ghost shack.
Here I’m isolated to protect myself
From the world which is so evil and dark…
I’m here because I was nice, because I was kind

Shadow Pianist
I sat there on the piano bench,
Watching the darkness flowing
Unlimited hell raised to create this,
And they gave it all to me…
This piano I’ll treasure forever,
This piano I’ll protect with my life.
It was my pain, my joy, my madness,
My despair, eagerness, my sadness.
The sound of the piano was wonderful
Melodious, almost heavenly…
It was like an angel fell from heaven to hell,
Like a living dreams, where all goes well.
I played the pieces from famous composers,
I played pieces from the shows I’ve watched.
But there...

Final Waltz
I was going crazy. I knew I was.
Blood trickling down from my wrist.
My feet, my hands were soaked in it,
I saw no reason to live, so I did…
But here I am living,
With no one: dancing.
My hands held the air as I spun around,
Twirling in circles, dancing a midnight waltz.
It was dark all around me, I could barely see.
I just kept dancing, dancing with me.
Why do I try so hard to blend in?
With people and humanity?!
My white blazer was stained,
With evidence of my heart-broken rage.
My dark blue jeans was discoloured,...
