Deep Love
He was told by a friend that his ex-wife is dying of cancer
She has less then a month to live
His hatred & animosity towards her was put to the side
They were together for years
Early on they were happy
Everything was golden
Trust and addiction was a big problem for him
They eventually divorced
They couldn't stand to look at one another
They sold the home
He moved to the next county over
She stayed local
For years they had no contact with one another
One of their friends kept in contact with the two of them
They swore...

Mundane Existence
He goes to the same job everyday.
He comes home to his wife every night.
They rarely touch each other.
Only on special occasions, like birthday's and July 4th.
There not attracted to each other anymore.
They don't make a fuss about it.
A few years back, they were fighting and swearing that they were going to leave one another.
When the fighting subsided, they both realized they were both a bunch of cowards.
Neither one had the courage to go out and meet someone else.
They don't despise one another.
They are friendly roommates waiting...

She Seemed Nice
She didn't trust meeting him
they were really tight online
she was afraid he'd be a psycho
years back she served some time
He knew nothing about this
she wasn't saying a word
one day her story leaked out
he thought this was absurd
He questioned her through e-mail
asked if she was ever in jail
Yes, but I didn't do it
she never posted bail
The authorities are looking for me
I don't have a place to hide
the last thing she said to him
I'm going to skin you alive

Didn’t your parents ever tell you not to be a follower but a leader? If you answered yes to this question, then why are you so trendy?
Diets, Elections, Fashion, Music, and Social Networking are some of the biggest examples of this. Society tends to go with what’s hot and popular for the time being.
Be yourself!
Who cares what others think of you & your opinion?
Do you fear exclusion?
Do you not want to be the odd one out?
You go along with what the rest of the group is doing. To ensure inclusion & social acceptance....

Senseless Violence
Thirty plus years ago I was watching the local news. One of the main stories was of a young man aged 20 being murdered. Not by a criminal, or his friends, but by the police.
The boy who had mental issues was running around the apartment with two knives pointed at his chest yelling, “I’M GOING TO KILL MYSELF; I’M GOING TO KILL MYSELF!!” The boy’s father calls the police explaining that my boy wants to kill himself. The police arrive. They have five officers arrive at the scene. The boy became agitated when the police arrived. He climbed out of the window and onto a fire escape. The...

Long long ago before I became a SCATTERBRAIN watching EVIL DEAD movies repeatedly, I was ACCUSED of VIOLENCE on HALLOWS EVE. The DIRTY ROTTEN IMBECIALS (D.R.I.) who always needed an ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT lived near the WATCHTOWER. They agreed with my METHOD OF DESTRUCTION (M.O.D.).
