Someday, we can finally be free

Don't tell me anything
I'm no longer listening.
Don't try and be in my life
You're lucky I don't havea knife (to kill you with)
But baby even if I did I wouldn't use it,

Just a feeling.
Alone in the dark, wishing I could cry
The only thing I can think of is to ask myself why
Why am I still here? I need my eyes to tear
A single drop of feeling
To start the process of healing
Would a cut relieve my stress?
You all say no but you don’t know what’s best
It’s all inside, waiting, bubbling over
Any pain, to know that I am real and humane
It won’t hurt too much, just a simple slice of the vein
It would be so much fun
To finally come undone
To see the light, follow it even
Go through the doors,
Never look back.
The only thing I can think of is to ask myself why
Why am I still here? I need my eyes to tear

When time is forgotten
When we're all bitter and rotten
I'll be able to say, I know how you feel.
When going to sleep is the highlight of your life
When you're taking the next step to sacrifice
You'll finally know, how I truly feel.
You look straight ahead and your mind is blank
But you know you've enough tears to flood a river bank
All you want to do is break down and scream
Because everything is how people want it to be, just not for me
I never want you to understand how I feel.
I just sit at the back, and try to cut through the black

Get back to reality, one day we will die
