I told my heart I wouldn’t drop it anymore...
I would treat it like a prize possession and recognize its face value and not auction it off to just any bidder willing to take..
No more quick impulses to have someone take hold of it  for only short term INFATUATIONS when in FACT the love was only a FRACTION of a FICTITIOUS style of fairy-tales.

Though my heart often disagreed the pleasures I received outweighed the good heart in me and I became BAD...
MAD with cruel intentions cuz my every INTENT was to be dispensed into that love...

As I sit here and position my notepad to a 45 degree angle and squeeze my pen snug up against my index finger and thumb. I slowly prepare myself to write a LOVE poem...Wait!! No scratch that. A friend poem.. No a I just met you but I feel like more than friends but not yet quite lovers poem...Then I try to develop that most sensual and exotic line that may or may not rhyme poem...About a man who came and swept me off my feet.
