auf meiner Zunge
I feel defeat on my tongue
as I say goodbye to you
I feel it slipping through
I am so tired of dealing
with you and your love
I am so tired of feeling
so dirty and helpless
but I can not kill it
this love I have for you
I won't let this defeat
leave my mouth, slip through

falsche Hoffnung deckt meine Augen, als ich in der Nacht träumen
Falling faster into the sea
Along with the fake smile
Lying to me, I take the rope
Sailing into dream lands
Eternity covered in night
Helplessy we try to catch
Opening into a deep regret
Paddling down the river of Styx
Enveloping sweet melody's
Cover the life of forgetfulness
Over the moon with remorse
Verify the shame which lies
Evolving into the guilt
Residing in the hearts of man
Siding to the frame that's frozen
Mercy calls, and you ignore
Yielding pleasures you implore
Ever so slowly we die inside...

my eyes are getting weepy
I strike down the pain
that leaves my soul with stains

going where i can't track
vanishing into another day

locked on my cage
keeping me from sleep

the clouds soar so high
loving every inch of the sky
crawling along the skin
in the moisture escaping within
there are words on you tongue
but your strings are tightly strung
you find no way to speak
the songs bring you mystique
the heighten senses make you aware
of your castle in the air
it may hide the blade
but your smile is old and decayed

tears will come running like bulls
but here you still are
stuck to never shine like a star

fangen die fallenden Sterne
falling to the bottom
always catching stars
no good, no good
gently slipping away
enraged with scars
nevermore spills out
diligently keeping watch
insight to the mind
excited for reruns
furious with screams
align the stars
lining up to see
lingering thoughts
escape the tragedy
nevermore rising up
driving away all sanity
enveloping the souls
never ceasing to scream
Stars are laughing
turmoil takes control
eager to free us
running from peace
nevermore, never more ...

Why does it feel so good to hurt so bad?
There must be poison in your fingertips
Yet I keep coming back for more
Wake up and smell the roses surrounding you
Pricking me with all the thorns
Leaving you perfectly untouched
Leave you behind, I try
Running back, I cry
Lying to myself till I die
My heart bursting inside
In your shadow I hide
Don’t find me, don’t find me
Leave me be, leave me be
Let me keep tricking myself
Too close to love you
Too, too close to loving you

The glass still contains the hate
That I so lamely drank
Corrupting me is your fate
In desires of yours I sank
Living like there's an edge
A bottom to the misery
That I am not there yet
That your souls still with me
Bury your face
In the ever darkening hour
Stand still in your place
As the air around you turns sour
Forget the promises you made
That I used to keep myself afloat

ein Feld, in dem Sie nach Herzenslust sperren
to feel the fear slip away
keep it in your head
the secrets of yesterday
the ones of the dead
trap your thoughts in a box
make sure they are never stolen
by a sly thieving fox
keep yourself barely broken
mended only by strings
your soul slips and cracks
the song it sings
gives my breathe back
before you sit and pray
look to the demon
forget what you're afraid to say
that you're hearts not beaten
a box in which to lock your heart
keep it in your head

wenn ich ein Engel wäre, würde ich ein gefallener sein
do angels have to fly, where they can't be seen.
so very up in the sky, why are they so keen.
up where we can't see, where you can't see them fall.
where they can't be, as they hit their inner wall.
fallen to the bottom of the well, cursing at the air.
some never realize that they fell, their heart hardly there.
if it were you, i'm sure that you fly where eyes could see.
but what would i do, because i realized what i would be.
if I were an angel, I'd be a fallen one
