If ever a word, as only a song
Solace sleeps the underground
As far above, so it is below
In space and time the sound
Of beating hearts, the rhythmic pound
Flexing through the afterburn
As pupils dilate the sight
The light of streaming fires churn
The cadence of deliverance
The great divide of stars and stripes
Rests in our remembrance
The face of everlasting night

Declaration of War
Darling...
From this moment forward... I've decided to sacrifice my previous existence on the altar of everything I feel for you; the happiness and truth that you and I discovered together this past eight months, that is something worth holding onto, and if need be, fighting for and I intend to do both.
With a certainty that only love can manifest; I sincerely believe that between the both of us, if we worked in tandem, as a team, we could and would have the ability to transcend the boundaries of our limitless potential. Not to mention, the strength to embrace yesterdays...

Nothing...
What Does This Word Mean?
It Is Everywhere & Nowhere. The Life I’ve Lived For Far Too Long Has Been Filled With It. That Un-Life Was Everything To Me, It Was All I Truly Possessed, All I’ve Ever Known. When I Had Nothing To Lose, No Risk Was Too Great & As Such, Anything Seemed Possible. As The Nothingness Consumed Me From The Inside Out, I Grew Numb, Numb To The Reality Of My Empty World. Without Fear, I Traversed A Realm Of Blight & Self-Destruction. Blind To The Truth, Seeing Only The Lie Of My Own Disillusion.

What The F#%k?!?!
Indecent, decrepit, deceitful disease
Demanding, demented, dismissive of me
Invasive, degraded, decadence seed
December, my winter, detroyer of dreams
Infected, deflections, everytime she speaks
False accusations, denying her deeds
Perfecting, rejecting, my love til it bleeds
Defacing, erasing, singing with screams
The pain, touches sorrow
In sorrow I breath

Black nails driven my hands
Sharp spears driven through my side

Winter falls, when autumn fades
The summer follows in the wake of rain
A love I thought would never change
Stalls, then stops and turns to pain
My heart beats backward, til standing still
Apart from memory, nothings real

Peace Of Mind
Time will tell if commonsense
Can open up my eyes
In the wake of my mistakes
I confess that I have yet
To leave the past behind
And I still feel lost somedays

Take me away, with a melody
Take me to a better place
Beyond all space and time
Take me to another world
Of endless wonder
Take me to a far away galaxy
To find some peace of mind
I'm convinced that life exists
So I learn to survive
In this abyss of disarray
I will never rest until
I crucify the lies
That impale me to self disgrace...

In a nutshell and simply put...
I am...
First and foremost...
Physically...35
At heart...21
Mentally...somewhere in the 80's
Emotionally...in the mid-teens...lol
And lastly, but not leastly...
Spiritually...old as f@$k...
This is the best discription I can come up with on the spot and in the moment.
On the other hand...
I am an aspiring musician...
Without most of the foolishly irrational and unfathomably unrealistic expectations typically imbued in the breed...
Meaning, I work, want to and will eventually go...

Decay Of The Grave
I am hypnotized by the sight
Of the cross that identifies your grave to me
On the night you died, it blew my mind
When you held me close
Then whispered these words to me
On the verge of your death
With your very last breath
You made me promise
To honor your memory
Until the end of my
Life I will try
To live with no regrets
And cherish every heartbeat
Your words live even though you're dead
No rest for the weary
No solace or sanctuary
Another broken body buried
Underneath the decay of the grave

Stranger in a strange land
The blind leading the blind
Walking hand in hand
With my everlasting lies
Building walls
