POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Poet Introduction
Words from my soul, for you. Spiritual, empathetic and striving for world peace one letter at a time.
Glimpse
I love that writing these words,
offers no more than just a meagre glimpse
--
Into this overflowing container of
Exponential growth
offers no more than just a meagre glimpse
--
Into this overflowing container of
Exponential growth

I haven’t always
I haven’t always been a Buddhist
I haven’t always felt like a good person
I haven’t always followed the rules
I haven’t always been the best role model
But I have always had a heart
I haven’t always told the truth
I haven’t always said I love you
I haven’t always said nice things
I haven’t always been right
But I’ve always wanted to help
I haven’t always achieved good grades
I haven’t always done my chores
I haven’t always called
I haven’t always remembered your birthday
But I’ve always wanted to impress you
...

Enough?
Many of us loose trust
Not sure who to turn to, and where to rush
Interesting to be in this position
And ponder why there are so many deaths,
A culture blackmailed by rivalry, too many a Macbeth
A society that breeds isolation
Exiled communication
Estranged from those that we love most
Distanced by brain cells lost; in worry and stress
The cloud that consumes me is real
And distorts all that I feel
Many of us loose trust, when everything
Just isn’t enough...

dreaming you
Imagination switch
Oh the depths we go
Seas of swell dwell in your palms
Psalms of long lost thought
I sat here just waiting
Biding my time before departure
The clock ticks – continuously
Always
I free my mind to think of you
Our connection one to ponder
Recollection screaming forward
From a dream you entered
It was this moment I paused
Tis you I remembered
Scratching my mind for remnants
Pieces of shattered heart
All that I could grasp
Soul connection; deeper affection
I appeared in your presence, in...

Influenced
Influence,
Influenced
Taking memories from the bank of life
Cashing in on tales of strife
I feel these things
I feel it’s real
The raw, that grates
My nerves, churning muck
Feeling sick, I remember
Moving forward, come un-stuck
I am guilty
Yes it’s true
I cast my eye to the past,
Catching on like the flu
It’s deep, it’s fast and overwhelms
Taking its toll in deeds, disease
But I choose to move
Flow within the sea and be
Conspiracy; looming free
Deprive us of our destiny
Influenced
Taking memories from the bank of life
Cashing in on tales of strife
I feel these things
I feel it’s real
The raw, that grates
My nerves, churning muck
Feeling sick, I remember
Moving forward, come un-stuck
