The Fraud
The lying, the scheming holding one hostage inside,
Gnawing at the soul, withering at the pride.
Requesting more than one can bear,
Drowning in the haze, gasping for air.
If another chance exists for thee,
Examine all actions carefully.
Remember the anguish deception creates,
For changing one's ways, it may not be too late.

Slumber
Painfully seeking deep, deep sleep,
To bury the secrets that I keep.
Sandman, I desperately plead with you
To cross my yard to the window of my room.
Sprinkle your powerful dust atop my eyes,
So I may dream of a world free of lies.
Sandman, please come visit me,
Give me slumber to end all this agony.

Sick
The medicine does not always help
Because I sometimes hate myself
This mental illness goes on and on
Will it ever one day be gone
By worrying myself to death
Sometimes it is hard to take a breath
Depressed and feeling all alone
Difficult to be comfortable away from home
And even home seems strange sometimes now
Why is it so difficult to allow
My fears to subside so I may live
Happily and be able to give
Something worthwhile to others
Instead of wanting to hide behind covers
Deathly afraid to communicate
Because I only irritate...
Because I sometimes hate myself

Searching for the words
To describe the feeling in my soul.
My mind is empty,
I start to fret
This was bound to happen yet.
Writer's block it cannot be.
Especially right now and to me.
Pointless to post this,
But I am doing so
Just because I want
Someone to know.

LOVE POEM

Endless Hole
There is no more poetry in my heart,
For I have completely fallen apart.
No more music to dance to in my soul,
Because he left an endless hole.
All that was rational in my mind,
Exists no more for I am blind.
Without his smile I feel only sadness,
Losing him has driven me to madness.
I want for nothing anymore,
Just the key to death's door.
If this I should be so fortunate as to find,
Free of me he will be, the one who binds.
For I have completely fallen apart.

Temptress
Thinking after she woke during that morning's dawn,
That she cannot help the way she was drawn.
But others apparently hate her for something she did,
And think she always acts like a kid.
She has been told that men like her sweet but naive traits,
An idea forms, why not use that as bait.
To seduce and entrap any man that she wants,
Laughing about her conquests, she boasts and she taunts.
When she is done, she will throw them away,
Because of course, tomorrow is a brand new day.
That she cannot help the way she was drawn.
But others apparently hate her for something she did,

Doubt
Doubt, unsettling
Almost too much to bear.
Time to reach for
The noose and the chair.
There must be another way
To calm my frazzled nerves today.
A glimmer of hope
Or a sign of peace
To help me relax
And find a release.

Phobias that hold me back,
Creeping in just to attack
The depths of my mind needed to function,
Please detour, find another junction.
Pass me by, cross another street,
I am so tired, my brain is beat.
Grant me peace, I beg of thee,
The one in my head controlling me.

Love Sky
Looking at you with loving eyes,
Above us hangs the starry sky.
Pulling me down on top of the blanketed grass,
In your hands, you cup my ass
With those firm hands of yours,
In my heart, I have never felt so pure.
The moon smiles as you kiss me gently,
Passionately and so intently.
Make me yours and you will be mine,
As we lay forever, entertwined.

Sad Girl
Sad girl, just looking at you,
Makes me want to ask, "what can I do?"
Do you dream or hope for anything?
To experience the joy that life can bring.
Are there any pleasures remotely tempting?
Or are you hellbent on always rejecting
Something that may put a smile on your face,
Or make you feel unique, with your own type of grace.
Sad girl, if the time ever comes,
I promise to help and show you the sun.
Makes me want to ask, "what can I do?"

I cannot believe the time is here,
That it has now been one year.
For you, my love, Rest in Peace,
It seems eternal, this endless grief.
A mental and emotional struggle to cope,
Almost as if there is no hope.
But for you somehow I tread on,

Come back to me, I plead, I scream,
Without you life has no sunbeam.
Crying and frantic, with no control,
No hope exists to ever console
My shredded heart and lacerated soul,
Leaving me shattered forevermore.
Without you, my life has no light,
Only darkness, nothing bright.
Wishing to join you on the other side,
Envisioning clouds far and wide.
If I could have you back with me,
Only yours would I be.
