Flowers for Jack
I guess I've been degaussed,
Anonymous self loathing,
Antagonistic number 7 on the high way,
Threatening transcendence to road,
Always,
On the road.
You taught me that.
You grabbed the frame of my world and showed me how malleable it was,
You blinded freedom with dreams,
Constellating above ideals that changed my world.
You were ahead of every curve, as the rhythms and riddles of yours played their song I was muted to your lyrics.

So it all came bearing spring time,
and a few pervasive days,
when autumn hooked the ground through,
and summer knew it's place.
Now the world screams and sings,
keeping it's feet near the dogs,
throwing scraps of all the winners,
to all the losers in the fog.
Let it all become so easy,
like you've never found,
These pills probably taste better,
Then the other stuff you've drowned.
Bring all your friends they loved you,
and sang like you were seventeen,
to the men who tore you up,
to see why you're so unclean.

Dress Down
Upon your smaller design,
I place your pattern in mine,
With the clothes we bought to help ease the parts of you.
But now our rags are not gold,
And our favourite clothes are so old,
So keep me as the ring we both know helped keep the parts of him.
So burn that cotton in time,
Scarves to warm that bloodline,
Your Gloves to put me to sleep,
You was never cold but you burned to touch like under that tree.
Go buy your summer uniform,
Ill keep my jacket against yours.
Hiding With a history book that's heavier than before.
