POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Siamesicide
Phillip and Richard Price were siamese twins.
Phillip was on the left and Richard was on the right.
They argued half the time and
Never had anything positive to say of
One another
They shared 5 common organs
The stomach, pancreas
kidney, heart and oddly,
they both breathed from the same lung.
This required that they alternate
between breaths.
Of the two, Richard was the compulsive liar,
insomniac and tended to be outspoken
and witty.
Phillip was sensitive, cried often, and was prone
to extreme mood swings and...

The Master Planner
Your gelid teal reflection
How you misguide with your misdirection
Love love and then hide away
Behind the shyness of your sinister
You proudly hold my attention
Giving your heart to me
Even though you really
Know all the love you give
You got from me
Many would say you're a disaster
Aspergerian jealous of those with rapture
In search of feelings you need to capture
But as if written in some intimate scripture
There's not a way that could make us rupture.

Behind the shyness of your sinister
You proudly hold my attention

This Revolution
It hurts to think one day
The lights will turn off
and that's been felt, seen and touched
will softly disappear
But have no fear you're still here
and do not look far above
for the one's you loved
you'll always love
Like how time will always tick
and turn tomorrow into today
as yesterday only is shaped like clay
It all matters every good thing and bad thing
That turns to fate
Even the flaws and broken laws
that tear the heart like log torn by saw
It never stops turning
It never stops turning
The lights will turn off
and that's been felt, seen and touched
will softly disappear
But have no fear you're still here
and do not look far above
for the one's you loved
you'll always love
Like how time will always tick
and turn tomorrow into today
as yesterday only is shaped like clay
It all matters every good thing and bad thing
That turns to fate
Even the flaws and broken laws
that tear the heart like log torn by saw
It never stops turning
It never stops turning

Vulnerable
Twenty years she stood next to me
I felt hurt, at peace, embarrassed
Too vulnerable to let go
Too sad to move on
Too glad the lies done
Feelings faded yet
Imprisoned by memories
How temporary it all became
As we walked the shoreline
We became strangers again
To let go
To say no
To fall below, feel void
Two people
Two seconds
Two spirits connected by time
I held her hand as the earth faded
I wanted her to know that she'll always be my family
I felt hurt, at peace, embarrassed
Too vulnerable to let go
Too sad to move on
Too glad the lies done
Feelings faded yet
Imprisoned by memories
How temporary it all became
As we walked the shoreline
We became strangers again
To let go
To say no
To fall below, feel void
Two people
Two seconds
Two spirits connected by time
I held her hand as the earth faded
I wanted her to know that she'll always be my family

The Watcher
Her name was Linda
We met ironically in front
Of a River that joined
Illinois and Kentucky.
She was a from Paducka
I lived in Vienna.
and we Talked about how
A simple river
Prevented us from ever meeting.
So we agreed to meet that night
I lured her in by telling her I'd
be river fishing and would have
a cooler of PBRs.
I learnt that night eventually that
Kentuckian women don't fuck around.
I fucking sat around acting like a fisherman
for 5 hours when at 1am she arrived
not even...

The Alliance
We met like ferrets pretending to be parrots
Nibbling on carrots.
It was obvious how she listened to me.
She allowed me to say whatever
it took to undress her from her stiletto'ed boots.
Her approach was psychological
Saying how she "loves Americans"
"What makes me look so American?"
She spoke her tongue like a snake in
jungle as she described my American
Look: backwards baseball cap,
Jeans, shades up and polo shirt.
She wore black which emphasized her
Cleavage making me void of leavage...
