this poem is for those in need of something more  
then a daily love song reminding them of that  
someone whom they felt was so special that they  
couldn’t live without that smile, touch or sweet  
nothings whispered during the height of those passionate  
grooves when the rest of the world was being ignored  
 
this poem is emotional like when you hear those  
three words, I love you at a time when you need to be reassured  
that you’re not in the mix alone and that significant other  
feels as you do
