Mistakes Of The Past
We often think, if we could change the past, We would be happy, content, no regrets.
But changing past mistakes, only opens the door, For new and greater hurt, no more, less.
How often we think, we learned the lesson, That each mistake has taught, Only to repeat them again, and again.
At which point is the lesson for naught?
How many times must we go through this chaos?
Until we learn, to alter old patterns of hurt?
Why continue to make the same regrets, As each mistake repeated is sure to bring?
When do we see through lies, and deceit?
To the truth...

I promise you now
That I'll forget you
By the time this Black n mild burns out
Once you're gone, I'll go back to
All the cocaine
And all the other shit
That I was told not to do
And you owe me more
Than just packing up and leaving
Out here in the dark, seems like a fun place to be
And I'm sure in the morning when I'm coming down
I'll be alone and scared, no doubt
But I'm too high to cry right now
Well, I found myself in San Antonio, Texas
Betting money on a sorry ass basketball game
And down on the river, I met the...

If I behave unstable
It is not intentional
I blame it on you
Yes, on your narratives
That boys don't cry
You say men shouldn't cry
You see crying men as weaklings
Why shouldn't I cry my cry
Even Lions cry, so why not?
We have all been mis-schooled
Depression comes in differentshades
Crying is soothingly therapeutic
So, let me cry my cry in peace

One day, your time will come
If I sink into depression
Because I am being a man
When depression leads to death ...

We both needed inspiration and motivation in our lives, and sadly we didn’t fall in any of the two. We’re just humans who’re still learning what to do with the mysteries and wonders of the world we live in.

Not to keep myself away
But to see who cares enough to break them all

Not to keep my heart safe

At the time I was innocent, a small white dove
I looked at the world with big bright eyes
And chose to believe all the alleged darkenss was lies

Awesome is being able to wake up and say I’m okay,
and to be able to drag myself out of bed,
morning,
after morning,
after morning,
and being able to make it through the day,
without once having to stop and keep my chest from suppressing my lungs,
not allowing me to breathe,
struggling for even the shallowest of breaths in a crowded hallway,
where all I can feel are gleaming eyes staring at me,
and feel the voice of paranoia whispering in my ear.
Awesome is finally being able to take a test in a silent room.
