It's that feel
It's a bright inviting light that's just out of reach
It's an out held hand, but only wants to preach
It's so beautiful and brilliant, but only a lie
It's so right and perfect, but learns too young and die
It's a secret feeling in your heart, and you just can't contain it
It's than one person who makes that feeling, but shoots a bullet to your heart, sights always been set on it
It's that feeling of trust, twisted by betrayal

just one kiss
Just one chance for our lips to meet
and then the world wouldn't be so weak
Just one little kiss
and then everything wouldn't be so amiss
If my lips touched yours
nobody would have to live with un-closed doors
If we just had one kiss, even just a small one
in blunt terms the world would be so very fun
And if we went past the lines of a kiss
and went into a full blown bliss
Our happiness combined
would strengthen the world as it hangs by a vine
We could save the world, You and I,
Just one kiss could change the world, and make...

Why is it?
Why is it, when alone,
silence speaks the loudest?
Why is it, when everything is going on,
nothing is heard?
Why is it, that those who are the proudest,
would hide from a child?
Why is it, that every meaningful word,
means nothing until you're ready to hear?
Why is it, that you'd kick me while I'm down,
knowing that I'll get back up?
Why is it, that we turn away,

Why is it, that the word love stays in our hearts for only a minute,
but worthless burns in our head until the day we die?

Life losing its rhyme
When you set yourself up for disappointment all the time
Your life starts to lose its rhyme
And you just don't care
And you start choking on the air
And you start to just stay in your room
And keep wondering how soon
You'll set yourself up again
And wonder why you can't win
And it just keeps going in that cycle for all your life
And you never even attempt to make it right
You just let it go like that
Hoping you'll be able to hide your face under a hat
So no one can see your shame
And see that you're to blame
You'll never stand up for...

You're such a fucking beautiful lie
But always leave me questioning why
You'll get me so high
Just to see what it takes to make me cry
You'll show me a perfect sky
Then sit and watch as I die

I'm no f**king saint.
I sometimes wish I could be clean and pure and right
But it's hard when you're in a fight
With the line that crosses what's wrong,
And where you belong
Maybe my purpose in life is simply to serve as a bad example
So don't test me like a sample
Because I am not clean
Any chance of being in any way Holy, has slipped down a ravine
And past the point of return
So I would gladly sit back and watch you burn
I am guilty
So there's no point to accuse me
It shouldn't be like this

There's nothing I can do to make you stop
Would not tell a friend

Not like they'd understand anyway
So you can just continue to repeat it every day

Just don't forget to shut the door

And you almost got caught
Good thing for you
The more you beat me the more I'll have to hide the truth

Becoming a superhero
I once climbed so high
That I shook hands with the sky
But was blown away by the wind
Never to return again
I looked down
While I flew around
And saw everything as it was
All hate, no love
I wanted to do something about it
But how was I supposed to fix it?
I thought and I thought and I thought...
After a while, it was a loud bustling place I was brought
Full of angry shouts
And hungry mouths
Full of killing and fighting
Mothers with children tried to stay out of their sighting
Some people didn't care
Some people put it all...
That I shook hands with the sky

I looked down
While I flew around
And saw everything as it was
