He plays her
Like a heavy riff
Fingering her chords
With his vice like grip
Deep vibration
Of her double bass
Holding her close
Electric embrace
Bodies in tune to the
Rhythm and beat
Fast building crescendo
Turns up the heat
Drum solo thumping in the
Depths of her mind
A reverberating echo
Between her thighs
Stroking her keys
Like a fine-tuned piano
Her symbols crashing

ANZAC - For Australia and New Zealand 25th April
From the shores of Gallipoli
To the trenches of Nam'
The unforgiving tracks of Kokoda
Solomon, Borneo and Iraq
A cruel Afghani desert
Men forever enshrined in time
Aussies and New Zealanders
Mates, standing side by side
That unbreakable ANZAC spirit
On a day when grown men cry
11am we pause to reflect
On their ultimate sacrifice
As the bugle sounds its haunting tune
We feel their spirits passing over
Bow our heads to pay our respects
And remember our fallen heroes
LEST WE FORGET

You and Me
Looking back upon the struggles of yesterday
Memories distorted, emotions hard to convey
The finality of that night, last moments together
Painful eternal darkness which binds us forever
Images so vivid, our laughter contagious
Five bottles of wine, coke snorting outrageous
Our bond unbreakable, cemented in time
You spilled all your secrets, I told you all mine
It came time to say goodbye, a kiss and a hug
I’ll call you Sunday I said, we had plans for lunch

Can You Hear?
If you’re really my friend you’ll just walk away, GO!
Eternal parting words, emblazoned upon her soul
He opened up his gates of hell so he could watch her suffer
Can you hear her pain, or have you moved on to another?
He tortured her soul, pierced it with a broken arrow
Left her to rot, entombed in her sorrow
Encased her in darkness and left her to die
Can you hear the sound of her pained anguished cries?
He crushed all she stood for, and ripped out her heart
Her obsession demented, poisoned in part
By the madness of dreaming, begging for...

Master & Pet
Outstretched his black wings devoured her whole,
She was drawn into his madness, an eternal hell.
Riding his dark horse on wings of desire,
He hunted her slowly, steadily igniting her fire.
His eyes flamed pleasure, but a black shattered heart,
Tormented her soul, invading her thoughts.
With words of false hope, empty promises of love,
What the fuck did he do, her anger seeps through.
She knew from the start she was just a muse,
He used her, abused her, accused her, infused her. ...

Warm breath whispers in my ear
Introducing me to your devil’s lair
Sweet smell of whiskey lingering on my skin
I’m tortured by you and so it begins
Stretching me open and filling me up
A lonely vessel for his undying love
I’m pining for what once was there
Finding it hard to soar through the air
Broken thoughts and dark despair
