Someday/One day
Maybe one day we will wake up free of this shame
Wind fills lungs to guide us from sadness were breathing
A world where guilt finally heals its broken wings
So it can soar away into the sunset & never come back
Shades in the clouds revealing the smiles of the sun
Where a beautiful sky can absorb the darkness within
A love that shines through the storms of misunderstandings
A warmth emerges to heal us all of these internal wounds
I am one of many & there are many of this one
Someday, Survivors will rise...

I Hope
How could you love innocence when you never loved yourself?
How do you withhold a hate that reflects in the mirror?
Never looked at the sketched paintings behind these words
Tried to bleach these writings on the wall into confinement
Just to smears emotions into a hazed darkness
Incinerated walls showing the gateway to true evil
I hope you choke on guilt
That I can't swallow
I hope you are blinded by trauma
That I can't hide
I hope you hear all this hate
That I can't silence
I hope these guided words haunt...

Prisoners of War
These rings I believed would unite a devotion
Honey if I only could describe how it has divided us
Magnetic lines quivering the grounds we march to
Past wounds never healed surrounding us in mines
Push with words & pull with enmeshed emotions
Trying to get one to cross a line to set off a chain reaction
Hollow points dispensing unresolved memorials
A atmosphere so toxic I wear a gas mask to suspire
Shadows of ourselves have brought us to the darkest hour
I've gained a night vision to perceive in this dark desert storm...

Feel Me Now?
With a new foundation of hope in my heart
A light inside takes on this curious feat
Searching for the ideal words to convey to you
A fear, perfection wasn't enough to please your love
A fire, Burning to destroy what has haunted this soul
This pulse is out of rhythm without you
With love pouring through these fragile veins
My heart is crying out all of me for you
Tell me! Can you feel me through these words now?
This undying love let my demons expose your clipped wings
I left you grounded & this haven was no heaven ...

Eternal Regret
I built all of these walls around our love
All of these clouds were supposed to be temporary
My vision got worse & my words slipped on deaf ears
Inside & outside i'm screaming out of tune
As the fog settled in
So did the confusion
Rage of pain paints the landscape
I can't seem to escape the mirage
Will this be my Eternal Regret?
My beautiful what is happening to our love
If it is so present then why does it feel so distant?
I feel so paralyzed of the thought of you deserting
I'm suffocating on all of these...

Child's Play
Hey there little lady we have indulged in your world
I believe the time has come for you to play in mine
No you can't drag me through this guilt ridden sand like your toy
Beneath the surface the monster lurks that I try to keep buried
Look up where blood red pain & gray thinking paints the sky
Hatred black as thunder & sorrow white as lightning
Can you taste the tears these scar tissued clouds hold?
Can you feel the bitter cold you had left me to weather?
Can you see the undying love that...

This vague emptiness is waterboarding words
Who needs support when they couldn't see a dying hope
What was wrong is wrong & you will never justify a right
I can no longer swallow a voice of understanding
You sought a way to look away while I tried to hide
You let a virus walk among you, that sickens my core
You let a fiend talk among you, that thickens my pain
You let a swindler hunt among you, that quickens my death

You unplugging this life support has revealed the outlet
With this frayed wiring it has arced a spark in a core
Igniting a passionate flame of my own self realization
A blaze to see the door inside the absence of light
This smoke is so intoxicating because it is something real
We chose the design, You were the architect
How in the hell did it get so cold inside of here?

Your tears set rain inside the minds around who love
Overcast my decisions to make me question reality
Clouding my judgment is the way you let yourself in
Or it was the knife that cuts & froze me inside a bond
Either way I feel so trapped in a darkness you call a void
Inside i'm walking a graveyard of souls you possess
All these stolen emotions you have compressed into me
A vortex of personalities sucking out this life
