Dark was the only light
Alone in this dark room, I belong
All I can do is sing a sad song
I’m all broken wish if I died
I don’t know how I’m still alive
I lay here in this room, black as the night
Where the dark was the only light
All gloom to black, again and again
Gave me no mercy to live, injects me with pain
Withdrawn I step away just to find myself
In the deep dark, I find myself in this solemn maze
This walk has nearly taken all
I try and try to exit but there is no way
In this maze, I feel so small
I’m stumbling and tripping, ...

Behind these walls
Laying in my bed
Just lost in my head
Staring at these walls
My demons creep and crawl
Every night the same brawl
Behind these walls, my memories call
Behind these walls, I always fall
Behind these walls, I’m so down and blue
Behind these walls, where I grew
Where the light can’t shine through
The wounds and scars they never heal
Misery is all I ever feel
It tears me down part by part
Until there’s nothing left in my heart
I’m alone in this place and scared
Reminding myself that nobody cares
Behind...

Dark room
As I enter this room
I hear whispers whenever I move
I kept following the sound
But there is no one around
Darkness is what surrounds
A place so cold,
Made my body shiver which I can’t hold
Broken windows and wrecked chair,
That is all I stare
Walls full of memories
Rhymes its melodies
As I was walking, a shadow of a girl appeared
As I got closer, it disappeared
This place is so strange
Since I entered this room, I feel pain
Flashback of the past hunting my brain
I don’t want to feel this way

Through the halls
Endless halls, endless doors
I don’t know where to go
Deep within the hollowed dark
Echoing silence reigns so stark
I peer deeply into obscurity
Gripped by terror in its purity
No cries loud enough to breach these walls
No light there to lead me out of these halls
Overcome by an eerie chill
Frightened, fearful, but frozen still
A loud shriek made my heartbeat quicker
And the dim-lit lights began to flicker
I begin to quicken my pace

Mistakes
I look beyond my scarred life
I don’t know how I managed to survive
Every choice I made was wrong
I brought this to myself so here I belong
I’m trapped inside past of pain and regret
Remorse for what I’ve done, for all my mistakes
Desperate and searching for forgiveness
Searching for hope and acceptance
All the wrongs I committed
I was numb and so co-dependent
The lies that I’ve spoken so many times
The feelings that I always try to deny
All the pain that haunts me still
And all the shame surrounding me
Is now the past...
