skittering across the desk
jittery pen a scribbling mess

Self Aware
Simple silent tongue
run my features
stung creatures
sing it sung
wrung it out
those thoughts
running about
sharing space up top
with animal teachers
slowly on me dawns
the path I've chosen
long gone long ago
softly spoken
loops back around
in choking laughter
swallowing myself
in joyous rapture
Don't make me laugh
my past is an unfeeling hell
sandblasted scorpion
lambasted corporeal shell
shedded, bedded, embedded
in my final words

Lit sandles on the wind
dancing in the sand
like candles
blowing out

Listing prose off in the distance
glittering toes and steamy pistons
sinking below an untold cargo
hold
my hand out
creeping up your arm
in green misty premium roses
seeping like a clearing fog
a searing log leaping
through the waves of doubt
nearing your thumping cor
gripping your new bile heart
and tearing it out
with a new wild shout
closing your gap faster
everlasting master
a lurking shark
in inky rows

A bath in my head
Before you undo your hair
and retire to bed,
let me run you a bath
here in my head
A hot copper tub and crystal silky water
swirling above a circle of sapphire flame
a gentle passionate fire
the one and the same
through my eyes a fun little game
perfect soapy bubbles
tiny mopey glass globes of soapy pleasure
drift up on rosy scented streams
popping along with silver harps in measure
lovely songs melting away anything that troubles
you, my divine treasure
step in one dainty leg at a time ...

I've seen more in this generation
than all those dead and cold
could have ever foretold
what more do I need to be
tired hinges
rusty whinges
as my lashes flutter
and my lids close
bloodshot and bold
too tired to doze
I can't keep them closed
or the whole world
I spun up
comes crashing
broken saucers flying
shattered tea cups
burnt-out spheres
dried up tiers of tears
ducks plucking feathers
from the tailspin
of my hidden tailfin
swimming in the dark

Every cell in my body
trappped in a knife fight
my love of life is broken
nightmares in the night
sweatily awoken
from a material sleep
now my vision is swarming
with rat like-monkeys
trading the trees for streets
littering the world in receipts
everything is off
smells funky
and when night comes
something I try to summon
so I don't have to see
another sun as it etches
this horrible vision
continuously into me
my imagination stretches
trying to find new reasons
to see more seasons
this...
