Telling Lies
Sometimes the moon tell lies
Sometimes the sun does too
The rain and wind I despise
And the snow that falls makes me blue.
Sometimes a storm comes to late
Sometimes a river should overflow
Even an angry hurricane can't wait
And the wind never fails to blow.
But I'm fine with all of that
I'm happy to withstand the storm
It proves that I'm alive and all that
Makes the blood in my veins flow warm.
When the moon don't deliver a light
And the sun gives up keeping me warm
That's going to be my last night ...
Sometimes the sun does too

Beauty There In Those Eyes
Beauty In Those Eyes....
Theres beauty there in those eyes...
They're the reason she flies so high
You cant pin her down, no one can...
She laughs with her heart full of love.
Dont feel sad because she roams!
That's what keeps her spirit alive...
The twinkle in her eyes gives of happiness
Just as the sun gives of heat...
She shines like a star in the night sky
She'll sparkle no matter how dull it gets...
I hope shes having fun like she wants to?
I want her to come back but shes to far to reach! ...
Theres beauty there in those eyes...

I Thought You Knew?
I thought you knew I liked you?
I thought you knew I cared?
I thought you knew I love to talk
Of all the things we've shared...
I thought you knew how important you are?
How important you are to my heart
I thought you knew all the things I do
All the things I did from the start...
I thought you knew your the only one
Who can look straight into my eyes
I thought you knew your were the only one
I'd turn to if I needed to cry..
I thought you knew without a doubt

Downtrodden Proletarian
Downtrodden proletarian
A downtrodden proletarian
That is all I am
To old to be a child
To young to be an old man.
Exhausted by virtue of my children
Played on by their every demand
But fulfilled in the knowledge of knowing
That I'm still number 1 in command!
Ive got nothing to accomplish any more
My life fits me like a glove
Not got much to leave behind
All I have to bequeath is my love,
But that's all a person needs in life
Nothing is as important as each other
A downtrodden proletarian? ...
A downtrodden proletarian
That is all I am
To old to be a child
To young to be an old man.

Empty Pockets And Broken Dreams
Empty pockets and broken dreams
No jingle in my jeans when I walk
My head has a vacancy between my ears
No real structure in there of which to talk.
My one good thing? Freedom!
It comes with no strings attached
No pressure thrust upon me any more
Just a head full of dreams unhatched.
Wind is free as is the rain
The sweltering heat of the Sun
Hills and trees are all welcoming to me
Who said you need cash to have fun?
My dreams lay shattered on the floor like a jigsaw
All of the peices? They won't connect ...

It's not about sex
Not about control
I just want you to grow old with me...
My life is fastly slowing down
So will you grow old with me

This life of mine

Time is more relevant than it ever was

Days quickly turn to night
Nights are longer than days

Nowhere
I wished I knew where nowhere was
That's where I want to be,
I'd keep it secret, all to myself...
It's a place for no one except me!
I wished I could have heard this silent storm
Before it came around....
I'd hide in my hideout in the verse above
Carefully, so as not to be found...
And if I escaped the madness
If I were to be healthy and free
I'd then work out a clever way
To bring you all to me...
I'd bring you all to nowhere
That's where you would want to be

Depression
Depression
Someone take that spade from him
Hes digging at my brain
I can feel every forceful footfall
And its driving me insane..
Someone take away those shears
Theyre snipping away at my head
The noise, I cant take it no more
If it keeps up I'll surely be dead...
Its there when I close my eyes
Its there when I try to sleep
The noise inside my head hurts badly
But its in there and its in there deep!
Everywhere I go I hear thunder
Everything I do I try to ignore it
But its there always like my shadow ...

Hurt
Punch me or kick me
Make my nose bleed
I dont care if you scar me
I will not concede
Stab me, slash me
Set me on fire
Do what you want to me
What ever you desire
But please dont hurt me
Dont mess with my heart
Its superglued together
After love tore it apart
I dont care if you bruise me
Or put lumps on my skin
But please do not hurt me
And I mean from within
Thump me if you need to
Im here to stand by you
If you need to lash out
Then do what you must do
...

A Gaping Wound
The membrane in my skull has cracked
Leaving my brain to decay,
As daylight penetrates the crack
All of my dreams slip away.
My thoughts escaped too and they're not yet rated,
Many are rather vivid!
But the ones I wanted to keep are gone,
And now I'm bloody livid!!!...
Memories too are getting out
A lot I didnt want to share,
Many of which are personal to me
Some have made me shed the odd tear.
But this crack was always coming
It was just a matter of time,
Although instead of it being on its terms
I'd rather it...
Leaving my brain to decay,

The Road We No Longer Walk
The Road We No Longer Walk
The road we no longer walk
And the places we cant return to
The words we no longer talk
And the things we never got to do
The bars we no longer visit
Like the restaurants we used to eat in
No longer will we go again
No longer will we put our feet in...
The stories we often told
And the life we shared together
All our dreams have gone cold
Like the murky Scottish weather...
All the promises I was told
All the future plans we shared
No longer have a meaning
Goes to show how...

A Melody For You.....!
I wish for you a melody,
A sound so soft and sweet
More precious than a lullaby
And in tune with your heartbeat...
The place where you come from
Where the Sun so warms the land
Where darkness holds a dancing flame
Like my heart safe in your hand..
Close your eyes and dream today
What you could do or be
For on this day my wish for you
Is the passions of the sea...
To smell a single orchid
And to feel the warming sun
The waves that softly...
