Telling Lies

Sometimes the moon tell lies
Sometimes the sun does too
The rain and wind I despise
And the snow that falls makes me blue.

Sometimes a storm comes to late
Sometimes a river should overflow
Even an angry hurricane can't wait
And the wind never fails to blow.

But I'm fine with all of that
I'm happy to withstand the storm
It proves that I'm alive and all that
Makes the blood in my veins flow warm.

When the moon don't deliver a light
And the sun gives up keeping me warm
That's going to be my last night
The final breath I'm likely to perform.

But the sun will continue to shine
And the moon will provide a twilight
Not every day should be mine
Except from birth to my final night.

It's ok cos I understand
And the moon never told me no lies?
Neither did the sun lend a hand
It's just everything on earth sadly dies.

Many years have filled my existence
Some were happy, some sad
The years moved on with consistence
T'was the best life that I could have had...
