POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Silent Heartbreak
You used to like me and make me laugh, now just an option and hard graft.
The fact you showed me the door, all for a common whore, that makes me hate you even more.
If I vanished into thin air, you wouldn't care, or notice I wasn't even there.
Now with this word vomit I give to you, how my heart broke into two. The caring from me is no more, I'll happily close the door.

If I vanished into thin air, you wouldn't care, or notice I wasn't even there.
Now with this word vomit I give to you, how my heart broke into two. The caring from me is no more, I'll happily close the door.

Summer
Glistening in the shining sun
The sand is smooth and gold,
Birds chatter excitedly and run
People suddenly appear young and old.
The sea is a deep shade of blue,
Waves rippling amongst the sand,
Like a large arm saying welcome home
The crowds are forming big and grand,
This is not the place to feel alone.
This is why I call the beach my home.
The sand is smooth and gold,
Birds chatter excitedly and run
People suddenly appear young and old.
The sea is a deep shade of blue,
Waves rippling amongst the sand,
Like a large arm saying welcome home
The crowds are forming big and grand,
This is not the place to feel alone.
This is why I call the beach my home.

Grandma's House
(Poem I wrote for my friends info on her online community)*
Once upon a time in a land not so far,
Lived a very wise old woman otherwise known as Grandma.
Being from East London was a tough spirit and full of knowledge,
always entertained a full house of guests in her tiny cottage.
Grandma's many stories of knowledge would be told, and in the mean time debates, fashion, food, music would unfold.
On an old turn table span the sounds of her youth playing memories back, she dreamt fondly of her past so it would not fade to black.
She...

I Miss You
I woke up that morning, positive and strong,
Had just been on holiday, first day back at the job.
On my mind, was to ring you as soon as the clock hit five,
You loved my stories, I felt comfort in your voice.
However, midday I got that dreaded phone call.
My world fell apart in one sentence, I thought it was a prank.
You were gone, departed from this world with no warning.
Shock kicked in, was the longest journey home in my life.
Later on it was denial, it can't be true, a sick joke,
You were fine, I...

China Doll
I am a china doll
Skin as pale as snow
Complexion as cold as ice
Small and delicate
Eyes staring empty
Body lifeless and rigid
Yet also scared
Please don't break me

Complexion as cold as ice
Small and delicate
Eyes staring empty
Body lifeless and rigid
Yet also scared
Please don't break me

One Year
A year of happiness, a year of winning,
I am no longer sinking, I am forever swimming.
A year of triumph, a year of smiles,
This elated feeling could go on for miles and miles.
Another year of this, more hurdles to leap,
Will I stick to it, or will the feeling seep.
Another year of being me, a lot more goals,
All this pressure, will I slip or fall?
I am no longer sinking, I am forever swimming.
A year of triumph, a year of smiles,
This elated feeling could go on for miles and miles.
Another year of this, more hurdles to leap,
Will I stick to it, or will the feeling seep.
Another year of being me, a lot more goals,
All this pressure, will I slip or fall?

Free?
I am young, wild and free,
but all I can think about is how the world percieves me.
I should not have a single care or worry
So why do I still feel like life will end in such a hurry?
If I had one dream that I could endevour,
the dream would be that I am as light as a feather.
If only I could float away up in the sky,
flying light and high like a butterfly.
Then why do I care what you think of me,
Surely I should be young wild and free?
but all I can think about is how the world percieves me.
