I’m stuck on the floor
Trying to get to the door
Aching pain to my core
For this I am sure
I need to get out
I scream
I shout
Is there another route?
I just need out
Dysphoria galore
Drowning in the shore
Can’t take this anymore
Anxiety
Insecurity
Inside of me
I want to be free
From this body
I can’t see me
In the mirror
That is not me
Can’t you see?
Outside I am “her”
But inside
I am “he”
Unbelievably
In pain
Insane
Stuck in the rain
Needing...
Trying to get to the door
Aching pain to my core
For this I am sure
I need to get out
I scream
I shout

She sat there alone,
In the pouring rain,
To hide the tear stains,
That littered her face.
Alone in the rain;
The only place she didn’t have to hide her pain.
Too many thoughts were roaming her brain.
Today, I stand in the place where she had lain…
Where she had been slain;
By her own two hands,
And her pain

"In a Daze"
Even though we broke up
And haven’t talked in months
It still feels so natural
Like we never even stopped
Like I can tell you anything
Without having any fear
I thought I would get choked up
But I haven’t shed a tear
This feels like a dream
Like we used to be
Don’t know if I want to wake up
But I know I’ll have to eventually
It’s like I’m in a daze
Wandering around a maze
Trying to figure out
Which way to go
What went wrong
How I got here
And what to do next
I don’t want to forward ...
And haven’t talked in months
It still feels so natural
