POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Madness of men
Everyone is mad to be born,
mad to be late,
mad for no reason madness is hate,
mad at their mothers,
mad at their age,
mad at each other,
madness is rage,
mad at their children,
mad at their race,
mad at the tears that run down their face,
mad at their jobs,
mad at their weight,
mad at the government,
mad at the state,
mad at their doctors who tell them madness is great,
mad at the weather,
mad at the world,
mad at God and the bible of old,
mad at their lives,
mad at their deaths,
mad at...
mad to be late,

It's sad but it's true
Every time I think of you, it's like an image of sunshine and butterflies,
your hair golden in the light, like some beautiful dream,
and I never wanna wake, 'cause I don't want to lose you again,
but I do,it's sad but it's true,
it's too late, reality hits me like a slap in the face,
all your manipulation and lies,I get so mad I could cry,
here we go again, it's sad but it's true,
things will never be the same, it can't be undone,
but now I have to live with knowing you're out there on your own, away from...

Dark Hallow Sisters
Well they knew there was nothing left for them in that old dusty coal town,
so they hopped a train northbound for the bright city lights,
they arrived there in the dark of night,
only to realize that runin' 'way was only half the fight,
And it's a cold ride from that Pennsylvania station,
where they tried to leave all their troubles behind,
but they didn't know the pain they felt was something that they just couldn't hide,
And it's a dark night in the hallow searching for a light they couldn't find,
and...

In December
In December when you don't know where to go or who to see,
when the howling wind blows through the hollow trees,
you'll see her there beside the icey lake,
wondering if her life has just been one big mistake,
in December when the frozen leaves crunch beneath your feet,
and the sky is gray and thick with somber snowflakes falling down
,so gently that you can hear them land on the choppy waters of your mind,
you'll hear her whisper in a quiet voice,
was this world my only option ,did I ever have a choice? ...

The executioner
The executioner drags his heavy axe upon the blood soaked stage,
waiting for the cheers as he raises up the blade,
silence in that moment just before he lets it fall,
he watches as the Fryer begins to pray for them all,
a monster cloaked in black and red from head to toe,
wishing for that moment when the blood begins to flow,
it's not a choice for him you surely must know,
when he was just a boy he saw his fathers body burned,
while children chanted rhymes from the green...
