SELF POEM

Eating Anguish
Monday, healthy but feeling diseased
The mind exists but can't be appeased
Blame a body that's been ever functioning
Disregard the holes the brain's been puncturing
Thursday, it's the sound of an increasing pressure
Tinnitus explodes into a burning sleep deprivation
Can't control what's been provoked by nagging dread
Control has been lost, madness slowly takes its stead
The pain is everywhere, and the culprit remains undetected
Triggered, angered, the pain is from the body disconnected
Distrust the conclusions of trained...
The mind exists but can't be appeased

Omni-absence
Drifting
As time turns slowly into space
It's worse than feeling out of place
Calling the sentiments out of line
Tasting something bitter and dry
Calling
Shadows blur and twist together
What's been cast aside explodes further
Nothingness will not be the curtain call
It's all endless until the corridors break
Challenge
The might of the outer sea
Bursting in torment eternally
Until the past is far away
And there's nothing else than paste
Blurry eyes call casts of pain
Limbs are locked in place ...
As time turns slowly into space
It's worse than feeling out of place

A House of Cinder
Hoping for a benevolent Hades
Or a steadfast Charon
The wandering soul arrives
With but a coin to swear on
There, just above the Stygius
Where once Achilles came
The gates of Infernus
Covered in eternal flame
The ghost, clad in simple garments
Looks down upon the waterbed
And where once was the gateway to torment
The river remained empty and dead
Quick, he wanders down the path
That the old river once drew
Though afraid of Cerberus's wrath
His other options were few
Stopping, his barren...

FICTIONAL PROSE

Rememberance of the Four, Act One
O, it has been sung five times before
And it shall resonate in the future forever more
But for the Four I will repeat, in the rememberance of their name
Picture a land of beautiful peace, fabled and forgotten
One where sins were so few, and no ill men yet lived
Creatures both bird and serpent, standing on two legs
Praying to violent Gods, terrified of the world beyond
Stood hidden on this continent they called Firavon
There, from dirt came the humans
So innocent and childish
Toiling in the mud in survival
Their segmented hands...
And it shall resonate in the future forever more
But for the Four I will repeat, in the rememberance of their name

On A Whim
Killing time suddenly becomes so exciting
As it's calling to the bottomless darkness
A rotten brain festers, ripening
Growing, flowering in the blighted malignance
It dreams beautiful things it could commit on a whim
Eating and spitting in a corpse, vomiting its worms
Splitting in half the living skull, filling it with concrete to the brim
As the decrepit cadaver heals and soothes and warms
Flesh is born anew, rugged tissue begins sipping through
Threads of reality, like hair, are rotting through endless seasons
As teeths grow soft...

Chasm
Deep inside the Earth, there is no wind
No sounds as sanity slowly dwindles
The mind explores the confined space
And so quickly it feels lost and out of place
Fingers move to touch the wretched face
Exploring the grooves and scars, scattered
Memories of a past that doesn't feel so distant
The body doesn't remember what is now absent
Hating to live, hating to be, stuck in a chasm
Crying, shaking, moved only by the infrequent spasm
Surrounded by stone walls yet feeling all alone
And feelings grow dull and low as the mouth emits...

Pouring
Deep inside the mind
There's something calling
A child, so cold, so blind
In the depths it's falling
I'm awake too late
To see it rise anew
Some said it shall be fate
And those who hope are few
I feel caught in a landslide
Innocence is pushed aside
The world is calling and I am mute
Skies are burning, I lost my parachute
Fire and ash mean just another day
I'm made of mud, my ankles of clay
Lost in this furnace, the self-violence
Bleeds me until it ends in silence
I call. No words come out...

Ripped in half by the word of something so silent
Spreading apart the seams of a world utterly violent
I am looking inside the void, the burning, feeling spirit
Desperate eyes burn me, wound me, destroy my wit
Slowly prey on my flesh as you gaze upon this corpse
Wander through time as my sanity slowly but surely warps
You ate it all, cursed it all, turning me into a rabid beast
Surely you will not add another limb to the endless feast
Breeding more lies and deceit as you sow your madness
I am forced to reap consequences of your foolish...

Silent and Rough
I am the blood amidst root-like veins
Giving word of life unto our silent father
I bring upon the world many reigns
Of stone and steel, a roughness that smothers.
I am immobile: my time is silent and still
But to whims of the world I never kneel
I can be the strength and the soothing presence
That will carry you forth even in my absence.
I find solace standing in the prairie
And mighty Sol brings power to me
In this world so solemn yet fiery
All but your own self are an enemy.
Only when we are...

Longing
A sleepless night begins, and, much like another
I crawl through the darkness as the mind sunders
Words are gone, horror a newfound companion
Until the dawn, it's a quest for a new oblivion
Silence is everywhere, a sight ever so solemn
In these times that oh so wish to be forgotten
Shaking, moving, quickly twisting, hastily breathing
Moans and begging, asking for a reply: but nothing.
Suddenly, a faint light. New odour. Invisible sight.
Rattling at the door of the spirit, with such might!
Transported to another land, I smile, and...
