Judgement's Begrudgement
Why seek to compete,
With your fellow man.
Compare to dispair,
In this judgement land.
We lead into greed,
With a weighted hand,
All the hate we mistake,
As a chain of command.
Through time we have climbed,
And evolved as one,
But compete to eat,
Seems a phase now done.
We've chased past the race,
And forgotten who's won,
So we turn and we learn,
To ready our guns.
But we find it's our minds,
That create all the walls,
And it's us who distrust,
When we have all the tools,...
With your fellow man.

A Change
I can feel their eyes.
Pieced disguise.
A thought can lead to many things,
But once a worry,
Always a runaway trouble,
Then a fear,
Then a cage.
But a key is being built.
But floating towards,
I can almost feel,
A change.
Floating away.
The change of tides,
Has seemed to carry me,
Far from the land of me.
Perhaps the body of me,
Can make me feel,
A part of this.
But floating towards,
I can almost feel,
A change.
It hurts to be,
A judge of things,
Though some can learn to be....

A Moment To Be
I have nothing to do,
Just this moment to be.
No future or past,
To cloud what I see.
With doubt let aside;
All worries let go,
The present holds peace,
To keep and let flow.
A moment to hold,
Without fear to release.
To not know of less,
Without fear to decrease.
No judge from within.
No ego's control,
To judge how we act,
To then ground the soul.
To accept all that is.
To embrace all we feel.
Just a moment to be.
Just a moments appeal.

Knives and Forks
Knives and forks,
And sturdy grips,
Ensures a cut,
That never slips.
Meat and blood,
Encase the soul.
Remove the life.
Fulfill our role.
Breed and kill,
Beyond no end.
Evolve as broken,
Don't try to mend.
Knives and forks,
And sturdy grips,
Ensures a cut,
That never slips.
Teeth and tongues,
Have want for meat.
Why stop our hunt?
Blood tastes so sweet.
Life and death,
Out of control.
We have such power,
From what we stole.
Knives and forks,

Refusal
I'm sure you're most like me,
You've refused to be naïve.
The world's thrown stones at you alone,
But not knocked you off your feet.
You've refused to show you're weak.
I'm sure I'm most like you,
I've refused to be confused,
By those that chose to keep doors closed,
When I searched for something new.
I've refused and for that I grew.
But I'm sure they're most like us,
They've refused to always trust.
Their shell's grown hard to discard and guard,
Whilst their lives tried to adjust.

Nighttimes Noon
Moonlight on the resting sea.
Tranquil serenity.
Pulled attention, my sight's intentions to find simplicity.
Lapping waves drag hypnotic motion.
Shamanic ocean.
Blue velvet waves lay out displays of bold emotion.
Water rugs carry essence of moon.
Nighttimes noon.
The sands of time intertwine and climb as aqua dunes.
Stones sit still lest disturbed by fate.
Gaia's weight.
Nature seems to take from dreams with no abate,
The kind serene and thought unseen to then create.

The Meaning of Life
The meaning of life is keeping the question alive but not knowing the answer, whatever the question.
The meaning of life is not knowing the meaning and appreciating the gift of life in blissful ignorance.
The meaning of life is simple.
The meaning of life is accepting and promoting change, whatever the change.
The meaning of life is finding everything you want at the other side of fear.
The meaning of life is simple.

Hands of Time
The hands of time have lost their grip.
My precious youth I'm letting slip.
Where actions seems to forward pace,
I find that slow can't win the race.
Yet slow does seem opposed to risk.
What care can we learn from the brisk?
I don't supposed they turn to see,
The darkness stalking the absentee.
And maybe life has taught me tricks,
Of how to break and how to fix,
Of what is right and what is wrong,
And how things short can seem too long.
But time must laugh with thought and worry,
As life goes by and people hurry.
For now...

Seek and Hide
The lights are on but it might,
Take me a while to open up the door.
See there's all this stuff in the way.
I can barely walk on this floor.
Sometimes I sneak around in here,
In fear of the people outside.
I'm glad I've got this place to stay,
Where I can play seek and hide.
Take me a while to open up the door.
See there's all this stuff in the way.
I can barely walk on this floor.
Sometimes I sneak around in here,
In fear of the people outside.
I'm glad I've got this place to stay,

Poetry Day
Poetry day,
has enough to say,
for it alone,
makes china from clay,
takes pain away,
and lights a way.
For the artists of today,
we give poetry day.

for it alone,
makes china from clay,
takes pain away,
and lights a way.
For the artists of today,

Why Set Sail?
I tend to float through life
And mostly I don't hate it,
But why set sail and use fate
To circumnavigate it?
I'm sick, I'm tired, I'm hungry.
I don't think I can make it.
Because life's the only test
That you study as you take it.
And mostly I don't hate it,

To circumnavigate it?
I'm sick, I'm tired, I'm hungry.
I don't think I can make it.
