The Revival Show
I gave my heart to Jesus,
many years ago.
It was at a revival,
toward the end of the show.
A man came up and said,
"Brother just come on in,
and let the blood of Jesus,
just wash away that sin."
And when I walked on in,
I could see it happening.
People were dancing
and raising their arms in the air.
(LIKE THEY JUST DIDN'T CARE!!)
[Chorus]
They were shouting "Praise the lord!"
(PRAISE THE LORD!!)
They were swinging to and fro!
(PRAISE THE LORD!!)
They were laughing and singing
and...
many years ago.

LOVE POEM

A New Begining
Once our hands touched again,
it felt just like a whirl wind.
All the doubt that tore at us,
seemed to vanish into dust.
Who are we to deny this?
it's not with in our soul.
Past loss and heartache,
tried to take it's toll.
Heaven was crying tears for us,
and the devil danced around.
Eager to destroy the happiness,
we finally had found.
Then you came and rescued me,
plucked me from the churning sea.
You wouldn't give up on the man inside,
refused to believe that love had died.
You held me...

Silence
All thats left is silence and the pain.
I wake up empty, for I must've been insane.
I know the reasons that could be,
but your silence tortures me.
.
I had a dream last night of you.
I hoped that it was true.
For there were you and me,
happy and so carefree.
Like nothing had ever gone wrong ,
and our love was still carrying on.
.
Every where I go silence finds me there,
I'm so empty and the pain I can't bear.
I'm in prison, will you rescue me?
This is not how it should be.

Love's The Reason Why
Love, like a diamond in a mine,
it takes some time to find.
Never give up on your dreams,
no matter how hard it seems.
Love's the reason why.

You know the pain of heartache,
you've been there so many times.

The Phoenix
Faires flew around my head,
and Dragons perched upon my bed.
The Elves bridled a uni-corn,
for my daily ride in the early morn.
.
I floated up into the sky,
and looked down from way up high.
I saw a river, perhaps a stream,
shimmering up just like a dream.
.
I plunged into it's murky depth,
and swam upon the eddys met.
The fear of what was in the sea,
only seemed to heighten me.
.
When I was tired,
I took a ride,
upon a 4-wheeler
on a mountain side.
With cliffs all around,
and wind in my face,...

OBSERVATIONAL POEM

Azure
Sky of grey on this azure sea,
soft winds blow that carry me.
Here inside this tiny boat,
closer to the shore I float.
.
On the beach I gently land,
gazing at the pure white sand.
Awed as much as I can be,
happy to be finally free.
.
I run until I finally stop,
high upon a mountain top.
Eagles nest in the crags below,
flying high and dipping low.
.
Piercing through a cloud I see,
rays of sunshine like a tapestry.
The valleys far below,
are hued in colors of a bright rainbow.
.
I turn my gaze...
