Your eyes catch mine
for a frozen moment
Locked in a stare
Strangers
but, known for years
My skin hungers your touch
My lips love your taste
You are forbidden

Hold on
She stumbled out the doctors rooms
An awkward smile on her face
The corridor echoing the tap of her heels
The same shitty flower painting
hanging after every second door
The lift opened with perfect timing
Confronted with those fucking mirrors
forced to stare back at yourself
Gotta keep moving
Can't loose balance
Still smiling
She caught a tear
Should she suffer is silence?
Or should she tell of her pain?
It's almost time for the crows to feast

It starts at the bottom
and works it way up
the stomach aches
the heart swells
the throat knots
the cheeks puff
When it reaches the eyes,
theres no rewind
Drizzles build to storms
A cyclone of emotion
